You can watch the trailer on the official website above and to be honest it does look far better than Batman & Robin, but not as good as Batman 1 & 2. Atleast Michael Cain is in the film to give it some credibility, and it looks as though this film has a more serious feel to it in comparison with Batman Forever and Batman and Robin judging by the trailer.

Yeah, it needs to be real dark, that's what i love from the first one.

Even though i didn't like what they did to the batmobile ( made it more realistic), it does have a good cast, and the suit doesn't look as fake as it did in B&R.

People seen to be not very happy about Christian Bale as bruce. I must say, he has done some great roles, specially the one in Equilibrium, so i think he will do a great bruce.

What do you guys think of Cillian Murphy as the The Scarecrow?:S

the cast is all great. Katie Holmes is the only wild card there but also the only woman so maybe thats why her casting seems weird.

and I have heard good comments about Bale being here, not sure who wouldnt like him.
and yeah, Ive heard Equilibrium is great, but I havent seen it (I heard Matrix ripoff when it came out and it turned me off).
Bale was awesome in American Psycho though :rockman:




PS: The Machinist is turning out great so far too (Y)

It looks like it will be either really good with an interesting story.

the new Batmobile is taken from the Dark Knight comics so like they have that to back them up.
the Dark Knight comic are supposed to be the best Batman stories and the ones with most fans.

Yes, a friend told me about "The Machinist". It does look like a very good thriller, just saw the trailer recently.

Bale looks like a skeleton in it though....:eek:

yeah. he said that to prepare for the role he only slept 2 hours a night and ate just once a day and didnt eat any bread or anything that would make him gain weight :|

have you read the book? way better than the movie... the movie just felt too 'clipped' and disjointed. Waaaaaaaay to much was left out of the final cut. No need to go into details... kids are here :D

And hopefully this Batman can live up to the promise ... Spiderman proved that it can be done.

It's is directored by Christopher Nolan (the same director of the film Memento) and is ment to be very serious and spooky. I liked the first batman the best, the rest were dissapointing. The second one opened the door for sh!tness... especially because Batman was no longer this 'mysterious, arcane' type of person, he is well known and begins to make jokes and what not; the third and fourth were just bad.

This one is going to be really good though, I cannot wait for it to come out.
