Of all the players listed Henry, Shevchenko, Ronaldihno, Riquelme is undoubltly the most influtential player for his team no doubt about imagine Villareal in the quarters without Roman, now if he is better or not i dont know but i would rather watch Riquelme than the other three when he is at his best, the only problem is he can be very streaky.

Karl Hawley (League 2 top scorer) is more influencal for Carlisle than Robin van Persie is for Arsenal. Is he therefore better than van Persie?

The Score (Canada) just reminded me something that I had forgoten. Tomrow will be the first time that both "Golden Boot" Winners will clash (France' Henri and Uruguay's Forlan....both were joint winners last year).

Adds extra meaning to this game( as if there wasnt enough already)

Villareal is missing two very important men in defence (Gonzalo and Peña). Sadly, I think they Villarreal is too slow for Arsenal, and is going to be trashed tomorrow.

Yes, but also Barça is very fast, and they have lot of problems facing Villareal.

Don't really know what are you talking about.... anyway...

I think Arsenal will win this one 2-0

Henry scoring both goals, and being MoM, once again!!! :jap:

Its a good thing El Diablo Rojo corrected you, Peña is crap:D but Gonalzo being out is a big blow, imo he is one of the better defenders in the league. Too bad he is out.

Help?

If you think that on his day Riquelme is better than Henry on his day, then you have barely seen Henry play and that's from a United fan.

I cannot believe we have made it this far in such a horrible season plagued with injuries, player crisis, bad form, youngsters developing, etc. I thank God we made it this far and only wish that we at least make it to the final for the first time in our history.

This is the first time both clubs make it this far so in my opinion there is no so called "favorite." Im hoping Arsene sticks to the 4-5-1 that has worked and does not take Villareal as a weaker team than Juve or Madrid. If we stick with what has worked up to this point I can only see us putting up a fight till the end. Well im off to bed with the thoughts of this game and the prayers that will hopefully see my gunners put on a good performance.

That goal's sheer class, but for me, it's not the best that TH has ever scored for Arsenal. Still a great goal, though.

Arsenal (from): Lehmann, Djourou, Eboue, Senderos, Toure, Flamini, Ljungberg, Song, Diaby, Gilberto, Hleb, Pires, Henry, van Persie, Bergkamp, Fabregas, Walcott, Almunia.

I've looked, but so far I haven't been able to find a Villarreal squad list.

From that, I'd expect this line-up:

----------------Lehmann---------------

---Eboue--Toure---Senderos--Flamini---

--Ljungberg--Fabregas--Gilberto--Pires--

-------------------Hleb----------------

------------------Henry----------------

I think that Freddie and Hleb would swap positions, i wouldnt mind seeing Van Persie coming on the left at some stage and maybe even Walcott getting some game time, i can dream cant i
