Arsenal V Dynamo Kyiv

its simple... really..... kiev needs to lose by a score line of 3-2 or 4-3 to ensure they beat arsenal on the head-to-head rule.... arsenal must go to inter and win 0-3 or higher to beat inter on head-to-head.... in english, a win for inter and a win or draw for kiev is enough for arsenal to be eliminated or condemned to uefa cup...

why is he a moron?

Italian defenders of recent vintage are consistently overrated, and by Italian defenders I mean all defenders playing for a SerieA team.
There are players there who have reputations way past their true ability..............and it's also true that people have to stop pretending that SerieA is some magnificent league, because it isn't.
Back in the day, when Boniek,Platini, Maradona, Alemao, Careca, Matthaeus, etc., etc., were in their pomp, SerieA set a standard that has never been matched, but now?
Give me a break!

Mind you, Juve and Roma are excellent teams, and Inter and Milan are pretty good, but overall that league is mediocre with games that put you to sleep, and don't tell me about defensive tactics in SerieA because that too is just overused cliche.

Bottomline is football is as complex as it is simple...nobody can understand why the Brazil National teams defenders are so adept when in National colours, but many of them fail in Euro Leagues. Nobody can explain why the Italian NT has been so poor in the last ten years (while their clubs succeed), yet France, with a mediocre league plays so well as a country.

It is just one of those things, the only thing I am sure about is that Arsenal are crap in the CL, and are two players or three short of a semifinal opportunity, and to think the Chairman keeps insisting they wont buy players for buying sake.....
What about buying players for not being embarassed in the CL sake, uh David?

owen gets his cheap goals yeah, mostly from hyppia banging him straight up to him, but this shrimp hasnt been top-scorer has he? why is everyone talking about the top 2 strikers of the prem league, and owen isnt one of them. he's stood still coz his performances for england nor loserpool have radically changed. he scored a nice hat-trick against germany for the 2002 qualifiers, but the ultimate goal-getter he hasnt been. he's also in-capable of taking loserpool to a higher level. those wanks in fact went back to zero by playing in the uefa cup again this season.
guess you dumbass yankees should get some footie games over there on your tellies and see it for yourself instead of saying what everyone else says and adding your own bullshyte to it.

veron. you poof.

and as for owen, what does it mean if you lead the league in scoring? does that automatically make your team better? and if i remember correctly, a few years ago, he was the top scorer in england. and i believe he scored like 38 goals or something 2 seasons ago. i never said owen was one of the top forwards in the premiership. i mentioned him because you brought him up first. as for liverpool, you really think one player is going help a team win? ask any person here, and they'll tell you that owen's done as much as he can...liverpool's failures to win trophies or titles does not fall on owen's shoulder. more to the manager's tactics, strategies, or the other players around him. you can't hold one single player responsible for a team's success or failures. and as for england, what hasn't he done for england? this past year, he's been the country's most important player, scoring the most crucial goals. does his brace against slovakia ring a bell?

and as for anelka, the only reason he's not playing for france is because of his fallout with the manager. in fact, he'd be an automatic call up for any national team.

and yea, call me a yankee. but it's obviously i watch more "football on my tellie" than you do. fall back.

Arsenal will be back...when we get the money issue sorted out (which most non-arsenal fans cast aside, some actually do know whats going on they pay attention).

Until the new ground is up, and the money is sorted out. Doing well is the CL can take a backseat. Take the money and run for now.

look out... Wenger has already promised a couple of new faces when the transfer window re-opens.... if we could get thru the CL till that stage, i believe we will add that extra-good defender (enter Mezes) and extra-good partner for Henry (dont know who tho).... until then, UP THE ARSE!

i doubt u watch more footie on tellie than me with your crap espn u inbred american faggot.
anelka had a fall-out with lemerre, he's not coach not anymore now is he? get with it douchbag
a player cant make the team better? okay, yeah so united will still be this good if you take van nistelrooij away? 25 goals in the league, 12 in the champions league last season?? change your name to A class moron please.
veron had scholes, beckham, and keane walking in his way, that way obvious. when they were injured or suspended and veron had the mid to himself, he flourished, we saw some of his wonderful passes and creativity, but when those others played, the mid was too congested with those sort of players, so veron struggled. you see now that he's king of mid at chelsea, and you cant deny that he's had some brilliant performances already, of course you wouldnt know since your **** espn doesnt show english footie.

please, it says a lot about you when you have to resort to insults.

first of all, anelka's fall out was with santini, not lemerre. it was about santini, who anelka said he's return to france if santini begged on his knees. get with it, douchebag.

i never said a player can't make a team better. if you read correctly, i said you can't make one player responsible for title failures.

and as for veron, hey, i'm a big fan of veron, but we all know he never played up to his capabilities at united...just glimpses and flashes of brilliance. and it's true and you know it. he succeeded in italy and has struggled to adapt his game in england, only now he's starting to adapt.

and if you're galvatron, i'm unicron, nucca. you can respond all you want, but this whole board will agree with me and recognize your ignorance. so fall back.

lets just say he is still 10x better than any loser who still wasting his time at loserpool.

and open your eyes further kid, he hasn't been world-class like his lazio days, but is making much more usefull passes at chelsea than he did in his united days.

im not doing this for the sake of liverpool fans but to shut galvatron up.... liverpool is not a loser club or a loser like you.... many legends played for them and they certainly won trophies.... with no disrespect to man u(my club), liverpool won trophies from 70s to 80s .... so theres no way they are a loser club even if they are struggling for form and consistency...
