I knew this summer transfer period was too good by Arsenal standards. So they had to sell two of their top players. They did it backwords, bought first and then sold.

It is finally looking like a typical Arsenal transfer window. (H)

Seriously, buy Tiote.

He is a proper beast. Would love him but I don't fancy us to strike a deal if we wanted him.

Would love Ben Arfa as well. Theo seems to stalling on a contract.....and we could do with some individual skill of his. If we were to gamble some good money on a forward I would like it to be Jovetic or him.

I think Arshavin is still your best winger even though he had a terrible season last year. If he catches up with form, he'll be your best winger. Season before last, he did like 15+ assists and scored around 10. Thats really good for a winger.

Is the armbar to indicate transfer listed?

an excellent piece of comedy right there, my good man.

I was impressed with Cazorla yesterday. He had a definite commanding presence and his ability to shake off the man markers and link up with the rest of the attack was encouraging. Gervinho was also quite industrious and had some fantastic breaks up the flanks.

That Giroud miss though, what a debut that would have been!

I think they just need a bit more time to gel though, Arsenal definitely created flow of game and opportunities enough to win it.

Yeah. I'm content with the result. Understandably, Sunderland were mind-numbingly defensive from the kick-off and we weren't coherent and decisive enough, you know?

New players, players coming off of injuries, non regulars and Theo being his ineffectual self.

He's useless. I'd rather Arsenal put another guy in the midfield and Cazorla to the right. Theo might be very useful coming off the bench, but he'll never be Thierry Henry.

I haven't gotten to watch Cazorla play much but he was really awesome in the fantasista role yesterday. We need an elusive, commanding presence behind our forward(s). Is he even better as a winger?

How about Oxlade? The "next Walcott"?
