EDIT: Higuaín, Valdés and Isco are leaving their respective clubs, maybe you can take advantage of the situtation and get 3 top players for 3 key positions.

Jojo will fit in fine and bench Jiroo. If Van Persie can develop into a top class goal scorer so can he. RVP was a little different in that along with superb technical skills he had a great ability to ghost into space effortlessly -Lamela looks a more similar player in terms of style....both have a very slender body to move with ease and adjust their body shape quickly. Whether we should be paying that much for a player to take his time is another question but that would be the least of my worries if we got him.

Higuain would be great too. I don't think he is anything special but if Jiroo can get such numbers he will get us 20+ at least if he is fit. As far as goal scoring is concerned he'd be a more pragmatic choice.

I doubt we want Isco but if we get CL football and are willing to put up with the cash I don't see why we can't. Still...I'd say unlikely if someone like Bayern or Real Madrid want him/Man City pay an absolute fortune.

And Lars Bender......meh..

Valdes...WHATAC*NT...but I sure wouldn't mind if he were to arrive. If he did along with a holder(and hopefully,Jovetic!)....we should go 4-3-3 to position the central defenders a little wider and play a player in front of them. I think it would get the best out of Carlos as well.

I'm keeping an open mind to whatever happens to be honest and can't really be bothered too much anymore. Well, I'm trying to get my shit together......

Yeah, Vermin is not that good. Kos and Per are much better. If we could find a more athletic version of Per the defense should be fine.

I'm sure you're more qualified than Forbes to state that, dear, but it's still those what those dumb "specialists in economics" say.

Regardless, my point is that Arsenal should spend more. Hell, if you like buying infants out of their mummy's breast, spend more money on that! But invest ffs!

Here's how you determine whether or not Arsenal rumors are legit: Do you know who this player is? If you do, it's not happening.

We'll sign a bunch of kids who we'll see in the League Cup sometime in 2014 and someone from Ligue 1 (probably from Montpeiller or Bordeaux) in late July. Deadline day we'll come and Sky will have cameras outside of the Emirates where there will be six or seven Arsenal fans standing behind the reporter looking sullen as we once again sign no one, while across North London they'll have a camera at Spurs Lodge (or wherever they train now) where they'll be going "shit fuckin' yea we're gonna sign Messi and Zlatan and Pele and shit" and they'll wind up with someone from Reading or Birmingham.
