i dont think he'll like it though, i jsut dont know why he wuold want to go to turkey..

we hear the same sh*t every time a player is transfered into Turkey. Frankly, I'm sick of trying to explain it you morons.

Have you watched the Turkish league? If you have you wouldn't be talking like this. It is one of the better leagues in the world, we have the huge fan base, and the funds to attract good players.

I don't want anelka, to tell you the truth he's lucky if he comes to a big club like Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas, or even Trabzonspor, it is a horrible transfer, that does nothing for our weak defensive core.

I think Anelka has tried to patience of every single football fan in the world and moving to another club won't solve the problem.

A few years ago he had the potential to be something great, but since then he's just sulked and moaned and instead of fulfilling his potential, he has just wasted time and talent.

Yeah, players like that do exist unfortunately. Galatasaray transfered Berkant from Bayern M at age of 19 if I am not mistaking and he was suppost to be a good tallent in the future but he never developed. And on the other side if we look at Emre at age of 16 he started to play for Gala and then he developed himself and he is a great footballer now at Inter.

The main problem with this transfer is that it only leaves me with Fowler and Macken in PES :p better get on and create Bradley Wright Phillips I guess :hump:

Bit of a pain though Anelka is not as tempremental in PES as he is in reality.

I wont be sorry to see him leave.

As long as we get a good replacement for him with Fenerbahce(sp?)'s money.

Oh geez, I'll have to use that ugly buggy Creation Centre to make B. Wright Phillips....

I doubt the replacement would be much more than 'one for the future'. Keegan wants to persist with Macken, but I reckon BWP will be up for first team next season on a regular basis. Most of the money from any Anelka transfer will go towards debt, and I wouldn't be surprised to see SWp leave this summer, and see next season very much as aiming for mid-table stability as the new manager sorts a team out.

the deal is finished. Anelka should be coming to Istanbul later this week.

:kader: What a rip off, if Fenerbahce wasn't so rich, I'd be worried about the funds that went down the drain.

We need defense, not goal scorers.

Not sure exactly, let's just say their money grows on trees. Fener's club president (Aziz Yildirim) is the Turkish equivalent of Roman Abramovich. Also, van Hooijdonk earns like $3.5 million a year.

I have no idea how rich they are. If we had a bigger reputation we could almost get any player that would come.

Bankruptcy is impossible, say Aziz lost all his money there are sooooo many filthy rich guys involved in the management of that team that financial problems is never an issue.
