same here; can someone just post a working file for all of us. this would be easier in my opinion; or maybe nobody has a working file and everybody is having the same probs.

hmm... i have a working file... but the deal is that its at home... and i've just moved and so i don't have cable yet....

i'm normally online from work...

so as soon as i get cable at home.. i'll send it... or i'll simply bring the file to work and post it...

either way.. i repeat:

IMP: use wordpad, and do NOT change the overall lenght of the file.. e.g. just replace teh 0 with 1's for the &UNLOCK/kit53=0 tupe statements...

i've noticed that if you change the overall number of charactars in the file it doesn't work

hey.. if someone can also try it with a more advanced text editor like ultraedit or something.. that might work even if file length changes

Open note pad and type this


[UNLOCK]
STOREPOINTS = 90000

then save as

common.ini

and save to fifa game folder run game and u will have 90000 store points to unlock everything and u will not get the player name bug

Here's what I also had to do to get it to work with this commom.ini file addon.

Im my documents folder is a folder called FIFA 2005. Rename it to FIFA 2005Backup. This holds all the settings and unlocked items.

The store points I raised it to 999999 or I didn't have enough to unlock everything.

I just tested it and it works awesome.

i think u have had 1 drink to many
and if u are going to play with files like that try using a hex editor as wordpad and notepad dont work

so if we are novices @ hex editing, then why can't we just use wordpad, if it produces the same results...?

ok a hexedit is easy to use here is a pic on how it works

and as u can see all u do is change your store points on the right and save now is that not easy

i got everything unlocked using notepad!!!:rockman:

isn't there a way to unlock more stadiums and a way to unlock more kits like man u 3rd kit??

do you have to win a tournament to unlock those or something? if so couldn't we write something in notepad to unlock these too?
