Yeah he is a reserve player, plays in the 2nd team right now but is mostly on the bench when Ajax plays.
Thankgod a win tonight against Roda, I was there of course but the game wasn't very great. Lots of chances gone to hell we should've won with 5-0 or smth so I'm kinda dissapointed with only 2 goals..sure 3 points but that's all.
Sneijder scored after he touched the ball with his hands so we were lucky with that one for once!
Grygera is so very important to us right now, scored for the 3d time this season after he sustained a headinjury but he kept on going cause he's tough
Jaap made the difference in the back and we really missed him against Vitesse last week.
Good news is that AZ suffered in and against Twente with a 3-0 loss
We are back on 2nd place and 9 points behind psv cause they drew against Feye.. so it's not over yet.
Saturday the last match before the winterbreak against NEC away, tough but we need to win it to keep tracks with psv and stay in front of AZ.
All in all I´m happy with 3 points and curious to see what Leonardo will do after the winterbreak.

). Anyway, good thing we've got ahead of AZ again.It's like our coach says, we need to concentrate on our own games and not on other teams. If we keep winning then anything is possible yet. It cannot be that psv keeps winning all their games I mean look at the game against 010 and it costs them a lot of energy as well.
Furthermore it's good to see teams are pulling at psv players like Valencia -> Salcido and Gomes and Alex are wanted as well.

You read what Ten Cate said eaerlier this week, if players don't want to play or keep whining about leaving the club then by all means but those players will continue to play for the 2nd team and Ajax will transfer them as soon as the opportunity rises.
After this players say that they never said this like Lindenbergh for instance..yeah right
No players will leave the club during the winterbreak as of yet is Ajax' statement but I'm not sure about that.
Ten Cate wants another defending midfielder but Ajax only wants to buy if other players get sold, we'll see how it goes..

Meh, I hope we sell him. Atleast we can get some money for him than.
But anyway, I agree with HTC on this subject. We need an experienced controlling midfielder. Last summer we were close to signing Gravesen, but Van Geel denied it in the end. Yet I think we'll need someone like Gravesen to keep the balance in our team.

only Jaap Stamsterdam in the selection is a tough man in defense but let's not forget about Grygera guys.
He was bleeding earlier this week but he stayed on the pitch.
Looks like psv is going to be champions quite easy at the moment
The way we made mistakes which costs us the goals yesterday was really unbelievable
2-2 was the right result, we could've had more but thanks to mistakes from Wesley and Ogararu nothing more but a draw was in the cards in our last game. 11 points behind psv is almost impossible to close no matter how I want us to become champions.
Kanu and Davids both want to return to Ajax according to an interview with Kanu, he told Portsmouth he wants to leave but they won't let him (yet).
I'm hoping Ajax will get both players in the winter but I doubt it.
Let's hope the 2nd half of the season will be better, the winterbreak will be real short this time. Then in february against Werder Bremen but I won't hold my breath for that one, they are a class better I think.

“I want to go back to Ajax Amsterdam. Portsmouth should be grateful for what I have been able to do for them and allow me to go. After all, they got me on the free”, said a furious Kanu.
“I have been talking to Edgar Davids and a couple of other guys with whom we shaped Ajax in the mid-1990s and we believe we can re-create the atmosphere at the Amsterdam Arena if we return to play for the club”.
“My mind is made up. I have great memories of Amsterdam and I know great things can still happen there if we return”.
Kanu is said to have held talks with Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder, Edgar Davids, when both teams squared up in north London on October 1, but they then spoke over the phone for several weeks romancing Ajax memories.
Kanu was signed up by Ajax Amsterdam at the tail end of 1993, when he was newly arrived from Japan where he won the FIFA U-17 World Cup with Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets. It was his first professional contract in Europe and, after a year, he was elevated to the first team and was part of the side that won the UEFA Champions Cup in 1995.
Kanu won so many titles with Ajax in Holland and in Europe, as well as the Intercontinental Cup in Japan, and then moved to Inter Milan of Italy for 3.4 Million Pounds in 1996.
The likes of fellow Nigerian, Finidi George, Patrick Kluivert and Edgar Davids were in that great Ajax squad with Kanu.
