Can you blame them for being tentative in their first ever CL semi final? Yes they should have tried harder to score maybe but they will have been terrified of conceding the away goal and they didn't do that, now they have to go out and try to get one. Hard, but not impossible.

Atléti are the best defensive side I have ever seen. absolutely unreal off the ball. they didn't concede against Barcelona and Bayern at Calderon. that pressing, man. Bayern couln't pass the ball in the first 10-15 minutes.


I praised Lucho and the players for defeating Simeone so often because it's fucking tough man.

All these articles about his greatness and comparisons to Ribery....Ribery in three touches showed more technical prowess and vision even if the executions wasn't there than I've ever seen from Coman.
