FYP:wow, that was a stroll ... shame the Matuidi-induced own goal was inexplicably disallowed ...

Don't need to be fast when you can hit them like that off a standing start with your weaker foot (H)

Senior Squad
I doubt there is any team in the world that lacks balls as much as Leverkusen does. Fuck them. They'd lose against some sunday league team if they were wearing Barcelona jerseys.

I think every neutral would love to see an Arsène smug face at the end of today ... the only consolation of Bayern progressing to the next round is the possibility of another Mou vs Pep bout ...

Fox put Arsenal-Bayern out in the boondocks of FS2 (nee Fuel) in favor of airing NASCAR Truck Series practice on FS1.

I actually have that! my DVR is set to record all live instances of the Champions League on channels I have, so I'm all set for the Arsenal match ... but I don't have the stupid Fox Soccer Plus (who does?), which is where the Milan game is being shown ...

anyway, yeah, I too don't get why Tuesday games are given priority on the national network, but Wednesday games are [arbitrarily] shunted to the backwaters ... :kader:

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Milan just came close to scoring twice witn Kaka hitting the woodwork and the keeper saving the second one. Milan is playing really well

I have a feeling that someone is going to give Diego Costa a bad injury to force him out of the World Cup.

Leverkusen's tactics are just messed up. They're a counter-attacking team that implodes whenever they have to rely on attacking on the counter.

Starting XI
It's kind of sad that both of the most exciting ties in these quarterfinals are pretty much decided now. Damn those red cards. I'm quite sure the outcome of those matches wouldn't have been the same without them. Sucks for a neutral (well i wasn't exactly rooting for City hah, but still).

If Agüero wasn't injured in the match against Barca it could've actually been 50/50, but i don't really like these "could have been scenarios". I don't think they can do much at Camp Nou.

Regarding the other match, and considering how strong Bayern are, they probably would've beaten Arsenal over the both legs nevertheless, i think. Not that it's over yet, but to be honest it pretty much is.
Arsenal started pretty well though, but if you don't manage to take your chances then the other team will and that's what happened, plus two forced substitutions in the first half, Gibbs' injury and the red card for Szczesny didn't do them any good either. And it was kind of difficult full CL debut for the young Sanogo as well.

At least i'm glad that Atleti managed to win their match against Milan away. I highly doubt that Milan can somehow overcome them at the Vicente Calderón. So that's something positive at least.

Two quick punches from BVB and the game is over. Hulk is the new football fatso. I'm surprised that Spall didn't tell him to lose weight yet.
