Well, last I heard Cordoba (the team he played for on loan and bagged the winning goal that got them promotion for) wanted him after a successful season, but Chelsea didn't want to loan him and were asking too much for him. His contract supposedly runs out in 2015 by the way.

Redknapp says we're getting Remy. Not sure I'm entirely happy about getting a striker who failed a medical for Liverpool considering we already have an injury prone striker and a an old man as our other options. In terms of quality Costa, Drogba and Remy beats Ba, Eto'o and Torres though. Costa, Drogs, Lukaku would've been better though.

I agree. We showed prowess in attack and saw our backline exposed early enough in the season that Mou should be able to address it.

EDIT: Basically Demba Ba all over again, signing Newcastle's top scorer to sit on the bench for a couple of seasons. Suits me.

What a mental game. It was a game of you-score-we-score, the ups and downs in seconds was literally bizzare even for the Premier League.

I had a lot of respect for Martinez, but him saying that Costa needs to show more respect to his players was hypocritical. Coleman and co never stopped being sneaky and winding Costa up, got him carded for nothing.

Mirallas also got away with stamping Fabregas when he was on the ground. Naismith although a great player is always flinging himself about and acts like a hardman when he doesn't.

Chalobah gone to Burnley on-loan for half a season. I really hope this goes well because I had high hopes for him. I guess he'll be back to cover for Mikel when he goes to Africa.
