Madrid fans hate Bale and James has been much better than him at RW/RM. I know it's hard to believe (for those who don't watch Madrid) but Bale is a disaster.

Bale is better than Hazard. He was better in the Premier League. Bale doesn't fit in well with Ronaldo because they are so similar. It's not a talent thing, it's a fit thing. When Ronaldo is out, Bale does a very good job of replicating what Ronaldo normally brings to the table. Even being such a "disaster" as you say, Bale still has just as many goals this year in the league as Hazard.

But the importance of the goals that Hazard and Bale have scored are incomparable, I think. Bale can obviously rack up his numbers scoring against Rayo Vallecanos while Madrid is beating them 6-0. But yet again he has proven himself in the EPL almost like no one else has been, for Tottenham at least. Scoring goals out of nothing etc.

Oh and Bale is most definitely suffering a lack of confidence lately in Madrid - the club just has a bad aura around them, and it keeps getting deeper. The fans booing him for being too "selfish" etc. The media making it worse and then they want him to be something else.. There might not be enough room in the club for two players like him and Ronaldo. Last year yes, but now that James was signed, it complicated things. If I were Bale I'd just tell Ronaldo to fuck off and play like he wants to play, but he cannot do that, because the latter is the main man in the club and starts crying about everything that doesn't go his way. The best thing to do for Bale would probably be a move away from Madrid, because the way they are treating him and so on, a move back to EPL would be good, I'd wholeheartedly welcome him at Utd.

Didn't watch Leicester but we're not just one win or one Arsenal slip up for the title. We play Palace on Sunday while Arsenal play on Monday so we'll likely have it wrapped up before they play, but it would be very entertaining if we drop points and Arsenal then mess it up on Monday.

Cesc apparently played very well, and WAGNH have him as the only high note of the 1st half. Hope he keeps it up for the rest of the year and breaks Henry's 20 assist record. He has 4 matches and needs 4 assists.

Would also be nice to see Costa win the golden boot, where he's currently 2 off, but I'd rather see him recover properly so we can stop worrying about him next year. Del Bosque will probably overwork him on INTL duty anyway, so I wouldn't be too disappointed if Costa sits the next 4 out, although he should be ready for the next match by current reports.

Hasn't Del Bosque been using mostly Morata as the lone striker in the recent matches for Spain? I'm not saying he's the best choice for that role, but he has managed to play fairly well. Or is it because Diego Costa was injured at the time or he simply didn't get called up? I doubt Del Bosque would do something like that, but you never know what that old man might be thinking.

Anyway I'd like to see Paco Alcácer get a chance. That dude has got a lot of potential in my opinion.
