I'm not going to feel sorry for anybody indulging into junk food when they have a metabolism problem. And don't get me started about the part where he decided to wait 4 years until he couldn't run anymore before getting proper treatment.

He needs to use common sense.

So in Champions League news, Schalke beat Dortmund this weekend in the Reiverderby 2-1. Galatasaray is very unlucky that this round is so prolonged, because Schalke are in some of their best form of the season. Draxler has been arguably the best player in Germany since moving to the AMC position when Holtby went to Spurs. Uchida was back to his 2011 form absolutely terrorizing Dortmund to the tune of both assists; he mauled Inter in the CL two years ago, so when he's on he is incredibly worrying for the opposition. They'll be without Huntelaar though, so if Gala can take any solace, it's in that.

Theo, have you guys figured out how to use Sneijder yet, or not?

Ronaldo has hypothyroidism and was unable to take medication for his illness because of doping regulations.

I didn't know he had hypothyroidism. It doesn't make sense why thyroid hormone replacement drugs would be banned though. Lots of people are on it, including a fair number of young women (it is more common later in life though). People with hypothyroidism need to be treated. They won't magically form their own thyroid hormones adequately.

If thyroid hormones are banned, should Insulin be banned as well? Insulin is a hormone as well and some type 1 diabetes athletes are on it. I can't think of any reason why someone abuse thyroid hormones as a way to improve athletic performance.

maybe they don't allow this because he could hide the use of ilegal drugs with his medicated drugs, I supose it would be hard to detect minor changes, I'm not sure, is it true you're a doctor? would it be hard? :p

I've read a similar critique elsewhere, and it's possible that Ronaldo did not have a very good doctor and/or did not have good representation.

Anyway, here's your lazy 37 year old

Bet he looks better than you

Thyroid hormones would be great to abuse for training and nutrition??

fucking no, for your last question..

two weeks ago we played against hector raul cuper's team.. we were 2-0 down at the half time.. sneijder scored a fabulous goal with his right foot from the edge of the penalty area.. I'll find the video, just a second..

and that game ended 4-2 to our favour..

this week; against another mid-table team, unlike the previous games, we started in 4-5-1 formation, sneijder deploying as an AMC.. he did good, squeezing some shots and through balls, but weirdly he's been substituted at 57th minute..

I'm observing him at the pitch.. he's pressing; putting in more effort for winning the ball than any other attacking players, but somehow our wingers hamit and amrabat mostly can't keep up with him.. hamit played his best match last week since his arrival despite the defeat, hitting the post twice (which made a total of 11 hitting the posts I guess this year), and amrabat knows nothing but running like a mad cow with the ball from the left flank, and then putting inside right footed crosses..

we have a left footed player called emre colak, who does one-two's better than any other winger and sneijder seemed to have a better understanding with him.. the game flows faster and playing one two's obviously works well against teams..

so overall, he's not into his fully potential yet and neither drogba is.. also I sense that sneijder will move to europe at the end of year.. nothing I know, nothing is certain, I just feel like that..

and about schalke, they're pretty terrifying right now.. but before we met up with them, we were flattered by the signings of drogba and sneijder and we were sort of underestimating their power... now that they fucked us up in our home ground and show us what they're capable of, I have my fingers crossed that we learnt our lesson and hopefully we will play with so much care.. still I'm not very hopeful, chances are %65 to schalke for me, but we have hope..

it'll be a hell of a game I guess..

Ha, Wynalda trolling Warren Barton

"Huntelaar scored 29 goals last year, which is like 50 in the Premier League"

When Barton looked annoyed, Wynalda was like

"Hey, two leagues going in opposite directions"
