don't we also need the eng.db file?

you got no errors with other languages? think eng.db is ok

most known errors are fixed now, only the career crash at the transfers still same
as mentioned before, this can be solved by disabling the mini-faces. ( i think)
it s small fix, i upload tomorow for who plays career

! Also: if the "fifa_ng_db.db"-file got updated (the squad/db file) at \Game\data\db
your old career-savegame wont work anymore, i recommend to stay at old squad/db-file or restart career...

i only play with gameranger on LAN with a friend.
i only tried in English.
i created a new profile.

from my little experience with CM11, i know that the eng.db file also changes sometimes.

my game crashes when i choose Galatasaray or Fenerbahce to play with on gameranger.

the eng.db contains the names of teams, leagues, ...
i edited it, but i dont know if it s the problem. the Galatasaray & Fenerbahce-ccrash is still with the new squads?
i had sometimes, that they work when you go to teammanagement (before game). maybe a specific player cause the crash?

it happens because...the opposition players dont have Galatasaray & Fenerbahce in their eng.db...no way u can play with him....its only possible if ur opposition use the same eng.db..

my friend also have your patch installed, so this is not the problem.

we did not try with this new patch.

we will try this weekend.

it happens because...the opposition players dont have Galatasaray & Fenerbahce in their eng.db...no way u can play with him....its only possible if ur opposition use the same eng.db..

the same eng.db isnt needed, the others (who dont have the patch) will see missing names (like "teamname_88"...) but it wont crash.
btw, Galatasaray & Fenerbahce exists in Original FIFA 11, with same nameid in eng.db. so you wont get missing names

Add-on: career fix - transfer crash (mini-faces disabled)
recommend for people who have problems with career

fix: career, transfer crash

Installation:
1. extract the data from the zip archive
2. copy to FIFA 11 folder (...\FIFA 11\game\ )

notes:
- You need to have FIFA 11 patch 1.01 (from ea) installed
- 2012-13 patch V1.2.5 (or later) recommended
- this fix will disable the new mini-faces (introduced in original 2012-13 patch), and will restore the default fifa 11 mini-faces
- no regenerating needed

the normal patch is almost 100% compatible with online play (v1.2.5)

the add-on "all kits & numbers" is if you play offline (career etc)

because you ll get problems with the kit-colours when others dont have the patch, or get missing kits & numbers (missing textures) for others

The game still crashes a lot in career mode, mostly when it starts generating the transfers, sometimes right after the match as well. Right now I made it to the second season and now when I play the Community Shield, it crashes every time after the match (tried both playing and simulating the match, still crashes). I'm pretty sure I got all the patches, plus the fix from post #410, but this still keeps happening. If you could fix it, it would be awesome.

the problem with career, wich a lot forget:
you need to keep the same squad-database during your career.
because it s not the same as the squad-updates from ea (wich were squad-savegames)

-> for example: you started career at 1 octobre
updated squads to winter transfers, with some players gone/added
and the game will crash because the squads are changed & some players are missing


the squad-file is at ...\Game\data\db
you can make backup, and switch old file for career/new for online etc.
