yes,the addons from post 1 still work.
but you need: to regenerate it and change the local.ini file

I don't have FIFA 13's style minikits for fake teams...

Did you add the same type for minikits?

I mean it is better to have the same minikits and minifaces types for all minikits and minifaces....

Guys if you want please make a promo/preview video for the patch?

i used the fifa 13-style minis for most of the kits, only the new licensed (wich are mostly smaller teams) i made screenshot with CM11 like you did
for brazil mini i used this:

we can always upload fixes later

if your fifa is running (to) fast, like liv_tyler said
i had the same when i used the regenerator 1.6

you can try another regenerator to see if it s normal then
older 1.5 version or i use the regenerator of CM11: @tools > "regenerate bh"
