Here is how to import boots

1.open CM 10
2.Click file->Select all->Choose your patch directory
3.open the fifa.db
4.go to boot section
5.import the boots
6.assign the boots to the required players
7.save the changes
n we are done

in step 5 did u pasted fifa.db in "2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa\data\cmn" ?? if u hav done it n the game still doesnt work.... thn try extractin the patch to a short location like "E2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa" rather than the large path u mentioned....this worked for me n i downloaded the patch from the torrent too...so this has to work mostly

When you copy the new fifa.db file, then you are not able to play in world cup stadiums by default. Someone told me here that this can be done by CM 10 but I am not able to do it. So if someone could do it for me and send it to me I would really appreciate this. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

hey about crash after loading screen i did this and it worked-in regedit i deleted the folder Fifa 10 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>EA Sports i used fifa .db 1.01 fix patch is working but Fifa 10 is not i hope it will help someone.

open the game in CM 10 n open the teams and then assign the home stadium there...

No, extracting the patch at a short addressed location didnt help. Still the same error message of not correctly installed Fifa 10. I wonder whether there exists any solution or not.

Why the devs open a solution thread in the first place when they dont have the guts to face a bug...

wat OS are u using????..If u r using windows 7 or vista u have to disable UAC before using the reg fix....if this also doesnt work...then im out of ideas...sorry dude!!

he faced the bug & he doesnt care.

there would have been no bugs, but you guys couldnt keep your mouths shut.
so you got what you asked for, read through the thread.

& i believe the question needed to be asked is why did the devs make such a patch for so many ungrateful little bastards.

the patch works fine for me, instead of posting in the "help me, im useless thread" start working on a fix for it yourself.

cause thats what i did.

maybe you can ask merdiso to wipe your ass when hes done facing the bug.

be grateful you have all the files you need for a wc addition to your game, & get your ass to work on a fix.

ill check back w/ you every 5 seconds to see if you have fixed it.

i only had the issue of stadiums....bt now i have all the 10 stadiums and i enjoy the game everyday with a new team...
the patch is perfect if u know a bit of computers n fifa editing(im a beginner for fifa editing to...)
but i worked a bit and the problem was solved....
i also had scoreboard prob but it was my system prob nt the patch prob..
n the overall patch is perfect...
so i thank merdiso to start this project and finish it even though some assholes kept bugging him....

I must say its sad to see how the common user has regresed... It takes 5 seconds to open it up in CM10 and to begin checking all the database info to see if its correct.

Here is some tips, but it can be done guys, its not difficult, research the thread for tutorials on CM or do trial and error with CM keeping a backup just in case...

1) Open CM, select all, select the folder you decompressed to.
2) Go through and release every player from all the teams that are NOT National teams (ie club teams).
3) Delete all the NOT National Teams, and some extra gui, like Arsenal/Bolton/Etc...
4) Delete all the Free Agents, except players you wanna call to national teams that were not included...
5) Delete all the NOT assigned formations (ie all the club formations)

Now you have a smaller and more organized db with only the national teams and their players to debug. Check stadiums/formations/players signed fromn/etc on every National team. Check the calendar dates for the 3 tournaments (DO NOT Delete any extra tournament).

Now you can organize the Zdatas, delete extra Audio (Club Chants, Commntary)

Your game should now be bug free. You can even create a new profile by removing the A.Profile and A.Profiles folder from WCSA folder in Documents..

Yeah the mods could have done things diff, but you don't need to sit and complain, go find a fix yourselves like regcat said its not rocket science. I have given you a blueprint to fix the game, now go make it the way you want, and stop expecting everything to be done for you.

Thanks to all the devs for all your effort, after a few edits it turned out to be a great patch with all your hard work
