Ok, as the mode has been released I wanna hear you all the errors, bad things, feedback etc. regarding the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Mode, for FIFA 10 on the PC.

Q: I have Win 7/Vista 64 bit and my game doesn't work. HELP!
A: Download and install the registry fix by Machimarium on the pirst post of the other thread.

Q: The turf is black/my game crashes at 100% scheduling/my game crashes when loading.
A: Install the updated and revised fifa.db, which can be found on the first post of the mod thread.

Q: HOW DO I EXIT THE GAME???
A: Press F12

Q: I can't set the resolution!/Don't send appears!
A: Use the resolution fix on the original mod thread and put your desired resolution in the file.

Q: When I play, I am not in any South Africa stadium. HELP!
A: You can either go to Match setup before the game and select your desired stadium, or assign a stadium to a certain team in CM10

Q: Norton Internet Security wont let me run the game!
A: Go to the Norton history, look for the WCSA10.exe detection, click restore, and click "exclude this file from SONAR"

Q: Can I play multiplayer?
A: Sorry, the patch does not support it.

GENERAL FIX:
Right click on the WCSA10.exe file, click properties, and then open the compatibility tab and select WINDOWS XP

when the actual game starts the turf is just black.
i used rebuild fat in the beginning, as the game crashed when i selected Germany as a team in the first place. might that be part of the issue?

edit: after rebuilding fat (or just at the third try) starting the tournament with germany worked out just fine

Open the game again and play on another stadium.If the one used doesn't have that wrong turf, try again the SoccerCity one.

first of all - GREAT WORK..
the menu works, but when I go for a friendly, it crashes after a couple of seconds, I can see the stadium for a short time, or the teams in the tunnel, but then the screen turns black and the game crashes.....I use XP home SP3

this took some time as the game crashed several when i tried to start a new tournament with that team either while creating the tournament tables (after choosing the team) or at the end of the loading process of the match itself.
don't get me wrong, i don't want to complain, just giving feedback that will hopefully be helpful :)
when i start a single match on SoccerCity only the sky texture seems to be wrong (which wouldn't be a big issue) - but even after starting a new tournament, the pitch looks like on the screenshot during the 'introduction' and black in gamemode.
any idea?

edit: the game crashed several times at the end of the loading process (before the stadium appears in my case though) before i could start a 'quick game' at SoccerCity

Yes, I'm aware about wrong sky issue & black menu GUI (we had to remove it to put the new menu GUI style) but I tested for several times SoccerCity and I also had that problem, but I "fixed" it after launching it.
Regarding the Tournament, yes, it has some bugs unfortunately, we'll try to address them in the first update that will come.

Also I have the same 'crashproblem', when I start up a match - and playing with keyboard AND mouse - it chrashes... But when I start a match and play with my keyboard, it works normaly...

Game gets stuck on loading screen and subsequently crashes whenever a friendly match, or WC 2010 final stage game is about to start. Rebuilding Fat, changing resolution or quality settings doesn't do anything about it.

I've tried it now with keyboard...now it crashes before I see anything..

Downloaded parts from megaupload, unrar them, done everything written in the readme.txt and start the Mode (on XP). Everything works fine, the menu is amazing and the Mode seems to go on fine. Only 2 problems:
1) WC stadiums menu images are missing!
2) When I pressed F12 to close the game, the game closed itself but I got an error of the launcher application. I will more precise next time I try it ;)

By the way: good job for me!!!

EDIT: another small error: the final of World Cup Qualifications tournament is set wrong to Moses Mabhida instead of Soccer City :D

Try both WC.reg files and see which ones works ;).
