Rodgers to Green Bay, I hate the guy but even I felt bad for him. Should be a good situation for him there learning from Favre.

Aaron Rodgers gets the keys to the team either in 2006 or 2007. This is just incredible, and we've honestly been looking for a franchise QB to succeed Brett for two years now. Packerland is HAPPY right now, or at least my fellow fans should be. Now we need defense.

My favorite player in the draft just got taken by Pittsburgh, Heath Miller. That guy is going to be a GREAT nfl player.

well done Green Bay if you ask me, what a choice. I have to say im a little... disapointed with Eagles choice.

Who? Mike Patterson? Trust me, he's a solid defensive tackle and I'm a little surprised he went ahead of Shaun Cody. I think he'll do well even if he's a little short for the position, didn't affect him too much in college but this is a whole new ball game.

cheers ManU, ill admit i dont get to watch barelly any college football, the only reason i say that is because i really havent heard a lot about him, in comparison to a few other DT's. Cheers.

Senior Squad
that had to be the longest 1st round in the history of drafts but full of surprises

pacman at 6, williamson at 7, MIKE WILLIAMS at 10, rodgers at 24(i predicted he would go to the packers if he didnt go #1:****:)

really happy with the vikings first 4 picks. williamson brings elite speed that we need, i really wanted williams but we do need the speed, although i would miss his redzone ability. if eramus james stays healthy, the vikes defence will be a machine, i love it and we can afford to take the chance. the other 2 picks were luxury, still gotta check up on dustin fox

tomorrow should be interesting

Reserve Team
Clarett last pick of the 3rd dround to the Broncos

I mean you kinda had to see it coming, the broncos basically breed running backs...no matter who they are

We got two Auburn guys: cornerback Rogers and (black) QB Campbell. That's more competition for Ramsey.

Eventhough he played for those collar-popping, upper middle bastards up the road, i really like this guy. Great player, workman like, a UVa guy i didnt mind cheering on.

Is that good, in your opinion? Im not sure Ramsey is the steadiest ship, confidence-wise, after getting replaced by Brunell for last season ( :nape: )but I guess id love to see what Campbell can do. Big frame, looked great in Auburn, versatile, all that. Oh, and im sure rogers is gonna be great in DC. Excellent pick there, what with smoot now gone. Gibbs has got the cornerstones of a brilliant pass defense now.

I was shocked though, by how many auburn boys were taken so early. What was it, 3 of the first 9? Id imagine the only school to ever do something like that is maybe Miami

After watching the ESPN Mock Draft show for 7 hours, ive learned the following things.

1. Derrick Johnson is incredibley overrated.
2. Mike Wiliams is slow and he sucks.
3. Aaron Rodgers is a horrible quarterback.

Ive also learned that Merril Hodge is a ******* idiot.
After reading your post in 7 seconds I've learned the fallowing things.

1. Your football I.Q. ain't very high.
2. Your football I.Q. ain't very high.
3. Your football I.Q. ain't very high.

...seriously though, your comment on Mike WilLiams is very, how can we put it...?....idiotic. Mike Williams will be a Hall-of-Famer...you can quote me on that.

Anyways, I love the Shawne Merriman pick for us. With the 3-4 defense he's gonna be a great pass rusher because he has so much speed and can play as an OLB. Great pick IMO. (Y) Luis Castillo...???... Never heard of him, but hope he can help Igor with the run-stop. We also got a 6'6" - 240 pound WR/TE (Vincent Carlos*son). He looks like he has the talent of a David Boston, but just hope he doesn't bring the same type of attitude. (:/)

...Vincent Carlos*son runs a 4.40...AND he's 6'6" 240+ pounds.... :ewan:

They already got their #'s:

Shawne Merriman #91
Luis Castillo #93
Vincent Carlos*son #83

That wasn't his opinion on Williams, that's what Merrill (sp?) Hodge said.

Anyway, we had some decent picks. Took 2 of the fastest guys in the draft with our first two picks (either Routt or Washington ran a 4.29 in the combine, don't remember who), typical Al Davis pick. We also took Andrew Walter from ASU and Kirk Morrison from San Diego St. Hey Shifty, have any info on Anntaj Hawthorne, he played for Wisconsin.

Merril Hoge said those things, not me.

If you saw the damn show you would understand.

Yes, it is good because a) competition is always good b) Ramsey will never be the quarterback that will lead us to that which must be achieved (I'm not gonna jinx it :(). Although, now we'll have to get rid of Hasselback, a guy I really like. He actually did better than Ramsey in two seasons ago when Patrick got injured and he came in for the 2 or games. Shame, a great guy and a hot wife on The View too boot :((Y)

I like Rogers too and I'm sure he'll do great. They were showing him yesterday after being chosen at his house. He accidentely called Gibbs an "old man" but he immediately tried to correct himself by saying "he is also a very young man." (H)

Yeah, I think we got four Auburn guys now. They were good last season, I think they went undefeaten.

He's really good. I'd attribute a good portion of Erasmus James' early season success last year to defences focusing on Hawthorne. Definitely a second day steal.
