As for the Eagles, I would kill for one of the big 3 RB's in this draft. And we do have a bunch of picks this year so its not out of the question. Benson will go early, but any of these four players would be amazing:

Ronnie Brown
Cadillac
Mark Clayton
Troy Williamson

i love the draft, i love hype, and now that randy has gone(tear), 2 first round draft picks are tantalizing.

on a free agency note, the vikings just signed pat williams to a three year deal. now that is a DT combo, williams and williams, now that will be an amazing pass rushing and run stopping combo in the middle, with udeze 100%, our d-line is looking amazing

hovan is a free agent, we are not resigning him, he has had a terrible last 2 years, his production has been terrible. he got benched last year for a undrafted rookie who completely outplayed him.

i liked hovan but he had to go. reports are saying he will go to arizona to join dennis green again

I love the hype and the draft it self, but with those mock drafts I'm questioning myself why the people themselves who made the draft wouldn't put a CB as the top priority for the Chargers.

If I was the chargers my first priority would be:

1. If Mike Williams falls down to 12th pick (seriously doubt it), there is no question I would pick him. With our current WR-core, I don't think we make the playoffs...so that's my first move.

2. If Mike Williams is gone, I start thinking defense. Some one like Pac-Man Jones (love his name ) jumps out at me, but I also like Antrell Roll. I won't mention D. Johnson, 'cause he'll be gone.

3. With the 28th pick, I would look for some DL or maybe a Saftey, if that CB doesn't get picked with the 12 pick I would look at someone like Brandon Browner (Oregon St.) who's size (6'4") is making alot of heads turn toward him. As far as Safeties, I would love to see Antrell Roll converted into one, the guy is so gifted physically that 10 more pounds would make him a great safety IMO. At DL, I would like someone like Marcus Spears, Shaun Cody or even Erasmus James who IMO is the best DL in the draft but will fall considerably in the draft due to his past injuries.

Im with you here, but what Im tired of the redskins picking up all these "hard" or "thug" players like Portis and Moss. Im glad guys like Bailey and Smoot are gone. Especially in the case of the latter, they had huge mouths, and NOTHING good to back it up (I laughed my ass off at so many people calling Champ "one of the top 3 shut down corners in the league", and then saw him got utterly TORCHED by that rookie Raiders reciever on Monday night last season )

I dont care about the cash. If snyder wants to pay out his nose every year, I say let him. Im not thankful that the 'skins are the laughing stock of the league, but hopefully, with Gibbs, that changes soon enough. Is it too much to ask for a team to pick up guys who are workers and who have good, team-first attitudes. Ahh, sorry, rant over

Anyway, with the free agent season just getting underway, Arizona is looking like they could be sharp next year. Its great to see teams go from trash to treasure overnight like that

Im not plugged into the NFL network online, and i dont have my ear to the street in the football community, but ESPN ( ) says they were/are rumored for Ken Lucas, Kareem McKenzie, Reggie Hayward, Marques Douglas, Pat Williams, and Derrick Burgess, as well as already having netted Warner and Okefor. It seems like they have cash, and are being taken seriously as a contender for important targets

That was Ronald Curry, he was having a very good season until he got hurt towards the end.

Pat Williams signed with Minnesota if I'm correct but them signing Warner won't do them any good, he's nowhere near what he was when broke into the league in St. Louis. Arizona did sign the offensive coordinator he had during his good days with the Rams and with Bolden and Fitzgerald as their receivers, it could be interesting.

On the ESPN mock draft, they have the Eagles selecting Matt Jones, a 6-6 QB/WR.

Damn, he came out of nowhere, and looks like a hell of a prospect.
