    My impressions of UEFA 2005 (From a PES junkie!)

    I have come to the conclusion that it's probably one of the finest football games EA have ever produced, and i believe that the engine and features in this should have been in Fifa 2005 from the start. The graphics are breathtaking, absolutely wonderful, so much better than PES4's bland blue...

    I went to see if i could email EA for support or see if there were any patches, the official UEFA 2005 EA Games site has no Forum, the 'Support' button sends you to the EA Games support site, but all the links send you in a complete circle back to the advertising of other games, theres no forum...

    Got the full game, it's fun but...

    It needs some serious patchwork. For starters, and most annoying, it has a hugely irritating flicker look on the screen, which is very visable, and when you are in the startup movie, EA Sports logo and UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE intro the black bar flickers on the screen the whole time...

    FIFA 2005 online is FIXED...

    Its impossible to get a winning streak because the game retards your players after 2 wins, and then ure defence stops working right, and the opponent manages to get every header in your goal... EA this games fixed... Don't do a PES :(

    Online cheaters already?

    I just played a guy online that seemed to be able to score from anywhere, and managed to win every 50/50, also when he kicked the ball over the goal he won a corner every time. Is there a hacked version of XBox FIFA online that people are playing, cuz it seemed awfully unfair.

    Reducing a career season?

    Can you play less matches in a career, cuz it looks like you have to play about 56 matches to do one season... Cant you half season or something? As 56 games is a bit much :rolleyes: I just wanna get into the Premiership games.

    How do you configure pad controls?

    I get up the control menu, it says Keyboard at the top with the list of keys 'W'S'A'D' etc. but i cant get the game to switch to Joypad so i can configure my controller? Please help me, the pad works without configuring but the buttons arent in the same order as the PS2 version :(
