You are pathetic. You reply at every fucking post here, it doesn't matter if you don't know the player, you still do it and talk shit.

Now what are you on about again? Are you trying to say that ter Stegen is a far superior player to Leno? Because I think they are quite on par. I only hadn't seen William Carvalho, (actually I might have during the World Cup but I'm afraid it's impossible to tell for sure) but I still know quite a bit about him to base a some sort of an acceptable conclusion on him.

Talk shit? No I'm not talking shit at all, almost all of my posts have been pretty accurate according to my calculations and mostly on topic. I would have been talking shit only in the case if I hadn't mentioned that I've never seen (maybe!) Carvalho play. This thing really seems to bother you, just leave it be. You don't have to mention it in every thread as you've recently.

Yeah you're right about the first thing, I've been replying to lots of posts here on soccer forum, but only because I have had something to say on the matter in hand. Do you see me going to the Lounge and post in the gaming thread which doesn't interest me at all for example? No you do not.

Also I haven't been feeling exactly sleepy so I've been trying to fill my time with everything possible. I refresh the page from time to time and posting here takes me only a minute or so, you could say that I'm multitasking. I'm truly sorry if it bothers you.

Hahaha... Well that was like a week ago so it doesn't count!

And as you can clearly read out from the punctuation of that sentence - I must have been on one hell of a ride. I still have no idea what that means or what I was even trying to say. So you can easily cross that off the list. That's just... obscene.

I was going to ask why, if your junior guys could put 4 past Germany, they couldn't hold a 1 goal lead against Sweden and help the Azzurrini through? but seeing as Sweden will be the other finalists, I guess the results reflect the real pecking order ...

also, Zlatan is going to the Olympics ... (H)

The italians can cry me a fucking river, we scored in the 85th or so and Sweden equalized a few minutes later through a deflected shot. It was football happening, purely and simply that. It's not like both teams stuck to the 0-0 and didn't even attempt to score during the whole game. The injury-time pact of non-aggression was an absolutely normal thing to happen considering the circumstances, why would either team risk anything at all when there were 3 minutes left and the result was good enough for both...

5-0! (H)

lol, injury-time non-aggression pact? :-D

I wasn't having a go, so whatever justification you want to give is fine ... Sweden are the other finalists, so there's no shame either way ...

Your post was insinuating something for sure, but my go was actually at the italians not you. If you watched the game you know that I'm stating is the facts, not giving a justification. The match headlines on the italian press were depressingly ridiculous, what a bunch frustrated fools.

well, a biscotto controversy makes for a juicier story, and the media will always opt for that route ...

no insinuations intended from me, man ...

The Italian media, who is so used to fixed matches, will talk about it. No one else in the world would come to the conclusion.

Down 2-1... Canada has been throwing everything at England the last few minutes.. Listening to the commentary is like watching the end of a hockey game where the losing team is throwing everything at the other team.

Women's soccer is doing pretty well. The top teams are pretty fun to watch.

That was a reach...especially as an American

Women's Semis:
Japan-Engerliiind
USA-Germany

Personally, I would love to see Japan beat USA again. Practically, if #1 Germany does not beat the Americans, then the US will win the World Cup.

I don't mind women's soccer that much anymore. I would watch it if I was bored and it was on. I think it's cause I've been playing more soccer myself so I appreciate good play regardless of playing level....

I don't know if Solo and Morgan never got the memo, skip practice, think they're celebrities so they don't have to fit in with the team, or are just incapable of what the USA is trying to do, but they are not on the same page with the rest of the team. The US is playing such an attractive brand of football and those two are playing like a keeper and striker from Sunderland in 1987.

I only recently found out that European players get the majority of their earnings from club contracts. North American players get their annual $$$ from sponsorship endorsements. If you can't set up a viable women's soccer league in North America, then there is very little point in hoping for quality of the product. The players are being paid to smile for the camera - that's how they earn their living. The American women are so dominant because they are so physical due to far superior facilities than most other countries. I just don't get the impression that they have as much passion for the sport as you would want a sportsman or sportswoman to have. Same with Australia and Canada, who are both simply trying to emulate the US women.

The on-the-field product is rather inconsequential in North American women's soccer. I don't want to watch tournaments every 4 years and then stop watching. I'd be willing to follow player development through their club games, but the European system is far more organized. In North America, there is none.

Let me give you an example of celebrities in North America.
Alex Morgan, Hope Solo.

You know tell me that they are soccer players first - I'll laugh at you right in your face. They're not. They're just kidding themselves. And so are the suckers (young-to-late-teenage girls) that believe that these "soccer players" are athletes.

It's disappointing how immature women's game really is. They've had enough time to build up respectability in North America for women's soccer - yet, it is still a long way away from where it needs to be.

A Women's world cup does not need 24 teams. That is far too many.

Hahaha.. SG seems to be full of drunks who turn up during bizarre hours posting nothing but gibberish. Last night it was Sepak, this night it's Arnau, I've been binging on various stuff for a week also, I wonder who is it going to be tomorrow?

I don't agree with Newbie about the women's game. I was actually really surprised and impressed by the quality of the US women with the exceptions that I noted. I think the average player has (or at least appears to have) just as good technique as the US men.
