just watched the 15 minute highlights.


barca simply raped bayern. I couldn't believe how good Rakitic and Neuer was.

also I couldn't believe Benatia and Boateng running like headless chickens when Suarez and Neymar were 5 metres away from them beating the offside trap.

Boateng got Boateng'd during the Messi's second goal..


I expected more from Bayern, they performed like a mid table La Liga team.


I'm anticipating the second leg.

Haha wow that's funny, cause you probably had a personal stream of another match. 6 deserved yellow cards and Neymar ended the match with just 1? That WC final referee must be trash then.

Thats the problem with watching highlights only. Barca didnt rape Bayern. Messi did.
I dont think Bayern played that bad, considering the missing players. Imagine Barca without Messi, Neymar and Iniesta. But of course thats no excuse for getting clubbed at the end of a game within 10 minutes.
Thiago seemed to be a bit unsure which team he´s playing for though. Horrible passing quote.

Red cards ruin important finals and semis and should be used very sparingly. I think both games were refereed very well. Atkinson also enjoys a less than stellar reputation in his domestic league but he kept that game flowing great and got the key calls right, in my opinion.

Agreed. Couldn't have said it any better myself. The guy's a good ref, but like you said tends to make some mistakes in the EPL. I think it's good that both of the semifinals haven't been ruined by some shitty referiing mistakes, at least for now.
