Yup Anelka will be out, and so will Deco. Although I don't think we'll miss Deco that much. He's been pants so far this season.

Frank Lampard has been revealed as the Barclays Premier League's Player of the Decade. He was handed the honour by facts and figures giant Opta who studied every English top-flight game since January 1, 2000.

Report here.

Earned over ten years, due to his consistantly high performance. These are the statistical facts, which therefore renders any negative opinion futile.:innocent_smile_1:

Well done Frank.

Most appearances, most wins, 2nd highest assists and 4th highest scoring. That last one is amazing for a midfielder.

Amazing stats.

I remember when he played so many EPL games consecutively without being injured or suspended. He played each and every games for 2 whole seasons I think. In 2006 under Mourinho I believe.

If he plays like this for England at World Cup, they would have a good chance.

Lampard is one of the few players who can make decisions very fast and change it as well.

I think he deserves that title.

Sir Alex mentioned a while ago that Chelsea will face some issues as far as the season goes because of their old average.

You started last season very well with Scholary, scored lots of goals and demolished so many things but faced lots of problems in mid season and brought Scholary. You started this season very well as well, In fact you defeated all main rivals without conceding a single goal but again you dropped so many points in mid season.

Do you think that’s because of your players’ age and also lack of young reserve players?

No, it's overconfidence and more. Got nothing to do with that. Don't take what your manager says at face value. Not that I expect you to do any thinking on your own.

and what's that more. Maybe Ancellotti is loosing the control of locker room as well.

Considering Birmingham are unbeaten in 11 games, I just think its fatigue. We've never been good in this period..even under Mourinho.

Bertrand is apparently doing very well for Reading against Pool today. He's dribbling past them and making some great crosses, I hope he gets time next year. I prefer him at left-back over Mancienne or Hutch. I dunno how well he's doing defensively, which is the exact opposite problem to those two, but Pool are attacking down his flank all the time and it's 1-1 at half-time.

Our problematic positions right now are the holding mid and strikers, because at every ACN we lose two of both. If Matic, Cork, Sturridge and Borini step up, I don't see why we should buy more players. Ive heard good stuff about Bruma, Mancienne, Hutch, Bertrand and Nana-Ofori for the defense. Rhys Taylor is being considered for a Wales call-up, or so I've heard, and we have some good prospects in midfield, like McEachran, Stoch, Sinclair, Philskirk. Give 'em some chances I say.

They turned out well in my FM game.

I'm not gonna bother with everything in that post, but what's the right way to 'get' what you said about Terry?

Only wattched the last half-hour, but:

Goal - Scorer - Assist

1-0 Anelka Ballack
2-0 Malouda Dunno
3-0 A.Cole Terry
4-0 Lampard A.Cole
5-0 Ballack J.Cole
6-0 Anelka None
7-0 Lampard Anelka

So none. I'm not complaining though.

Personally I agree with what poet11 was saying about us being predictable for the end of 2009, we have seemingly had no plan b and a total lack of creativity and ability to make chances prior to the FA cup win and today. Watching games like Man City, Apoel, Birmingham, Pompey, West Ham were really frustrating. A lot of it has been since Anelka has been out.

Has been a great start to 2010 though, can't wait to see Football First/MOTD this evening, hopefully we can start getting a good run going now as the league is really there for whoever wants to take it by the scruff of the neck.
