World Cup from South Africa to USA?

USA would be way better then South Africa, mainly because I live in Canada, so it would be relatively close.

Africa, I dont know, I really have no desire to go there.

better for who?, maybe cuz the USA can organize it, but it will lack the passion that south americans or dare i say african nations have for football.

the passion that you see in fans from europe or south america is incomparable to the rest of the football nations.

If South Africa won't be ready at the right time, then it may b given 2 another african nation like Egypt or Morocco

You're dead on, give it to another African nation, but then would that mean that South Africa wouldn't be able to have an automatic bid? What about the new host nation?

Hell yes I'm all for this :rockman:

That is of course because I live in the USA and I would love to attend some matches in 2010. I have a feeling that everything will be alright though and S. Africa will eventually keep the hosting duties.

By the way, here is a guide of all the stadiums that need to be remodelled/built by 2010 http://www.stadiumguide.com/wc2010.htm.

It would be amazing at Neyland, plus it is only like an hour away :bob:

Even better would be Bristol Motor Speedway.

If they could put seats in the grass and put a field in the middle of the track, it could easily fit 200,000.

Only problem is that it wouls be surrounded by hillbillies.

That doesn't matter, none of that matters. It matters that I would save a few bucks. I'm just looking for a way my ass wouldn't have to work overtime. Those stadiums are perfect anyway.

That is convenient, the stadiums are perfect, the area is wonderful, and the gas prices are the amung the lowest in the western world (US$2.55/gallon). We also have BBQ, man....BBQ.

South Africa will pull it off. Financially they have contracts with 2 European based companies already surpassing the German World Cup cash flow. It is already anticipated this will be the highest grossing world cup, financially.

Still a long way to go but they will pull it off. They are already upgrading key areas such as digital transmission eqipment etc etc. As for public utilities...bring a cup.

Sanford Stadium is the on-campus playing venue for football at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. The 92,746 seat stadium is the fifth largest on-campus stadium in the NCAA.

I'd love for it to come here to Georgia

don't forget

Well I'd like the RSA to keep it, but failing that, Germany should get it again. Why?
1954, 1974, 1990, 2010. That's why. :bob: :bob: :bob: :bob:

It's early times yet. It'll pass by with no troubles. Well, some people might get hijacked, but as long as it's a crappy country like Ukraine, nobody'll care :X
