I really don't know. I'd drop Nike if we'd have to get rid of our stripes next season, a half black - half white kit would look to odd.
Pessotto's contract is running out this summer so I guess Marchionni will get #7 (6). Nevermind the scandal, do you have any preffered player you'd like to see moving to Juve this summer?

Juve have a contract with them, Juve can't just drop them, let alone in this period of time. It would cost us millions and millions and millions etc. I think when we signed with them in the summer of 2003 it was an 11 year contract. So we're stuck with them for a while. Whatever, at least they pay us a sh*tload of money. :)

Juve confirm Capello future
Friday 19 May, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fabio Capello has been confirmed as Juventus Coach for next season, decided today’s Board of Directors meeting.

The tactician has won two consecutive Serie A titles since taking over, but his future was in doubt amid a revolution within the club.

Although he had said in the past that his stay in Turin was linked with the so-called Triade of directors – Luciano Moggi, Antonio Giraudo and Roberto Bettega – it seems Capello will continue on the bench even after their departure.

“I’ll see you all here on July 15,” Capello told the players and journalists as Juve completed training ahead of the summer holidays.

The decision was announced by Chief Executive Officer Carlo Sant’Albano, who has been temporarily given full powers at the club following the resignation of the entire Board of Directors as a result of the investigation into match-fixing allegations.

“I have received powers to ensure the club runs smoothly until June 29, 2006, when the new Board of Directors is set to be nominated,” explained Sant’Albano.

It’s strongly rumoured that the first stepping stone to rebuilding the side will come from director of sport Franco Baldini, who has already worked with Capello at Roma.

“We are working to give Juventus a new director of sport who, sharing the vision of the club, will stand alongside Coach Fabio Capello. We’ve already started preparing for the 2006-07 campaign with Capello and we are following the evolution of the situation.”

It was always set to be a Year Zero for the Bianconeri, who will play their home games at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin while the Delle Alpi is restructured.

The club office has also moved to the new ‘Mondo Juve’ training ground in the Vinovo area of Turin.

“In this transitional period, I will work to resolve problems in bringing in new management, maintaining a strong bond with our sponsors, verifying contracts and the in-depth analysis of future projects, which will be handed on to the next CEO for his own autonomous valuation.”

It's good to hear to people at Juve are reasonably optimistic. :jap:

says the man who said he'd never coach Juve. Don't get your hopes up about anything until the scandal clears, cuz if Juve go down, Capello will be outta there quicker than moggi was :ewan:

Probably. Loyalty or club love never stopped the man in his career, also as a player, but we'll see.

Hit. It was his first year, which is never easy, and played like we expected him to do. Not super super special, but very good.

He was super at first to be honest, but turned average towards the end.. But to be fair, the whole Juve team was like that..

Transfer Guru
Alessio Secco Head of Sporting Activities

Juventus Football Club S.p.A. decided to appoint Alessio Secco as Head of Sporting Activities, in agreement with the Head of Technical Area Fabio Capello.

The Ceo Carlo Sant’Albano commented the new appointment:

“From now on, Alessio Secco will be working with Fabio Capello to prepare the next sporting season 2006-2007.

This organizational solution gets inspiration from an innovative vision, which I’m sure will be interpreted at best, thanks to the professionalism, the passion and the enthusiasm that Fabio Capello and Alessio Secco will put in their duty for Juventus, in coherence with the Company’s tradition, and thus fulfilling at best all of our exceptional supporters’ expectations.”

Now we got our man. I think Capello will do the same job like Sir Alex does with ManU. Of course I'd like for him to only take care of the transfers and get a new coach but you can't have everything.

Awesome! I think with Capello's incredible football knowledge and reputation in the football world, he can do a great job at that position.

Senior Squad
Yeap mark that's how they say it's gonna be
Link

I don't fancy it though considering capello's tight squad preference.
I like new faces and if we stay up then it's unlikely (Even if it wasn't capello to be honest) we'll be making many inward transfers at the moment.

I see someone to replace Zalayeta, Pasquale, and a side midfielder. I'd be very pleasantly surprised to see Barzagli as well but i don't see it......
