WeEditor only edits the we7.exe file and not the option file which is where all the changes have been made. You need ot use WEOptEditor 1.27 if you want to edit the option file directly.

I'm having the same problem with WE7. I take it there are 2 versions of this game? I bought the Korean version from Play Asia as I didn't know there was another version. (US version I assume )

I tried Waterloo (version 2.1.0) like you have said but the version I have won't let me edit the PC WE7.exe.

So you have the Korean version too and you have this patch 3.0 working?

I downloaded patch 2.0 last week and tried to install but couldn't get it to work. I copied over the new data.afs as instructed, copied the new option file to my save folder and copied the new we7.exe across (my original we7.exe has a blue '7' icon rather than a red '7' icon (could this be the reason? Different version?).

When I try to run it with Wolfs exe I get a 'wrong disc inserted' message. When i try to run it with my original exe now I just doesn't run at all now. I have to copy the original data.afs back across to get it to work and use my original exe.

Now i've tried patch 3.0 and the problem is similar but now it just says "The game is not properly installed" when I try to run it using the new Wolfs exe.

Any ideas???

wolf i reinstall winrar 3.30.. i'll test this archives...and i still have erros..like unexepected end of archive and crc error, all files have this same errors...

my WE7i seems to lag a little after using Wolf's 3.0 patch. controls are less responsive, taking a 1-2s delay to register each input and there are a couple of stuttering now and then, things which I've never experienced in 2.0 patch. is it becos of too many high res boots, adboards?
anyone having the same prob as me?

Not particularly after installing the last patch, but I've got a problem with responsiveness sometimes too. It actually feels like the CPU is doing it to add to the difficulty, since it's seems more likely to happen in important games. I dunno though, haven't played it on PS2 so I can't compare. But the PC version has some speed/responsiveness trouble surely.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know if installing two versions of WE7 on the same drive will work fine?

I agree with the 2 other posts. 3.0 seems a bit more slow in gameplay, and the players responsiveness doesnt seem to be the same as in 2.0 I am not sure what would cause this, but first I thought it was just my computre, but it seems to be others now.

I play with 2.0 instead of 3.0, soon I might give 3.0 a chance to see how I like it, but right now I prefer 2.0

Luckily I waited to see these comments of 3.0 patch before I'd install it. Because I wouldn't like to get my game run even slower, it's slow enough with my PC already. I'm still using 2.0.

i've switched back to 2.0 already, gameplay is much better now.
3.0 is pretty, but at the expense of gameplay. ouch

gr8 work wolf....but i wud love to c an update to the pes 3 patch!! espeacially 1 which has all epl teams in 1 division in the master league!! hope u will be making 1 in the future...coz i cant play we7i....runs 2 slow on my comp...only got pes3 to work with the patch!!
