Uhmmm, where are all the replies?
Now that i look at Jon's original post it makes me laugh how off topic everyone went. Jon Watson is trying to be so nice by releasing a patch with our bug reports and suggestions, and everyone starts mouthing off cuz they have no patience waiting for the patch. I think we should all be on our best behaviour if we want his continued support.
At least a patch is being released for Uefa Challenge. We should all be thankful for that.
We should be patient, and that there are better things to do than moan and complain about a patch.
What I am trying to say is, if you want to say something, say it NICELY!

Joe, there was a post from a member of Infogrames about what the patch was supopsed to fix, BUT its been a while, and maybe they fixed even more than what was said since then, and added in a few surprises to make us happy.
The best thing to do at this point is wait for the actual patch to come out, read the readme file which will explain everything in fine detail.

Yes, but if it takes too long, I'll be buying MGS instead of UC. 
That's right SCTW will be swimming on the northern shores of Lake Ontario. A little off topic, but what's the temp in that lake any 40 F? The ladies will be wearing their watersuits so don't think you'll be playing witht the laides on the shores of Ontario.
Yes I eagerly await the arrival of this patch. I've already noticed a couple of glitches for only having it for a few days.

I certainly care, and I'll wager that most people who actually paid good $$ for this game also care.
I know it's not the dev-teams responsibility to release the patch, but I thought that maybe they might have some inside information as to when it might be.

All we can do is wait patiently, and it will eventually come. Who cares if it comes out in 2 weeks or 4 weeks from now. On the plus side, summer is here Instead of waiting for the patch to play UC, why not go out and play with the ladies? Sounds like a fine idea to me
