Quick Team Creator

Are the players that you can use going to be fake players or all real players? The reason I ask is because I want to create my dream team using custom name but real players like villa, cassilas and so on...

maybe if u make an export function in access or excel that can be later imported into the tables with DBM ? perhaps that way u dont need CM to finish it (: (I'll offer myself to beta test ;) )

Preview of the program so far:

Numbers and names where generated by the random fuctions. For simplicity all teams are created using 4-4-2 formation (may add 1 or 2 other common formations later if that feature would be important to anyone). Positions of substitutes and other players can be set by the user.

moldovan: The FIFA09 version I made is much simpler and was specifically made for the Football Conference project. You can only input team ID, team name and player names. The output then has to be manually copied into xml files, which then have to be copied into a zip file and the zip file's extension changed to .cmp.

Nice work. Nice tool. Easy and fast!! Very good!
Can u insert the information fo the players?
age, height...

Very good mate!!! This looks really nice. Thanks waiting for CM 11 and this tool.
Cheers

Thanks for the comments!

Generic Oval: Thanks. No need to rush though, just need them before the beta is to be released.

swisscosmo: My program creates new players. I think what you need to do is use CM11 to clone the real players, change the names of the clones and add them to a new team.

darkvajo: Very interesting idea. I looked into the idea to see if it could be done easily, however I think it would take more time to impliment than the xml output for cmp. Of course, later I would want to add the cmp output since it is easier to import a cmp file than import records to at least 6 different tables in DBM11. I have decided to only impliment cmp output since hopefully CM11 will be released in a few weeks. I plan to do as much of the program as possible now so that the beta can be released hopefully within 2 weeks of the release of CM11.

ac12: You would need to use CM11 for those funtions.

can you make also an shortcut to fifa11texture editor for each team ID so we can put the kits, minis , logo, flags and adboards for the team we created?:D

QUALITY WORK m8...thanks to all modders/coders who made my $40 purchase worth it

looks good bro, stay on it & keep it as bug free as possible.
definitely a tool worth programming & using.

yeah looks good man ...

actually if u use an excel output there wouldnt be much tables to add: players, teamplayerslinks, formations and teams. so if u're organized u can do it properly.

i'm telling u this to not wait for CM to me cause ur tool looks really interesting and, as I said before, i'll definitively will offer to beta test it.

Ok, maybe this post is slightly off-topic, but for the creation of the new CEP edition we can't go totally without CM11. Though this tool will definitely quicken the process of creating the obscure leagues for the patch.

check ur PM man (:

when will it be released? or if it is, where can i donload it?

I think I should clarify: my editor is not an alternate to CM11, rather more of an add-on to enable quicker generation of teams. It needs CM11 to import teams to the game. Anything my program creates can be edited in CM11. It will be released about 2 weeks after CM11.

mIHAI~2ocm~: You will be able to use CM11 for that.

darkvajo: I have given things a bit more thought. Basically what is wanted is an interface which is more user friendly than DBM11 for creating the database of teams, which will be replaced by CM11. I do not want spend alot of time adapting my program for the alternate output, and for CM11 to be released very soon after, meaning alot of time was wasted (Rinaldo has not suggested a release date, I undertand his reasons). However, I think for this purpose it would be easier and quicker to create a new tool just using Excel. One worksheet would be a form similar to that of my program, and another would contain the database data with instructions of what database and table each would be copied into. It would not be as good as Quick Team Creator, but would be usefull in the short term. What do you think?

moldovan: I have left the upper limit at 25 to simplify things, and also impliment the stadard Rinaldo proposed for previous versions of CM (for each team id, 25 player ids are allocated). More players can be added with CM11 if you want.
