Is it possible to start a career mode with multiple teams created using Creation Master?

I've created several national teams and players that weren't in the base game. When I try to start a career mode, the game crashes. (also it sometimes crashes during free kicks). This isn't a major issue for me, as I'm more interested in exhibition matches and tournament modes. But I was wondering if this issue is fixable
