C'mon now.. granted some of the faces look good, but look back at the previous pics and look at Stones, Patrick Herrmann, Robben, Jonny Evans etc.. they look like wax melting under the sun.

i partly disagree..i think faces are good ..just need better lighting to complement them

Well, we all have our opinions I'm just saying that some look good and detailed, and other look really bad.

Robben isn't even a scan though. But anyway, why judge the faces based on low-res smartphone pics taken off screen?
If in game you zoom in on any of the recent scans (e.g. Hazard), you'll see how awesome the similarity is.

Yes but it's not just this year.. EA have had this 'wax look' for a couple of years now. I'm not saying every face looks bad, but imagine how much better they could look in comparison to other games.

Compared with other games, texture-wise EA creates the same stuff as they do. But EA lacks behind on lightning, effects etc. EA really does a great job with scanned faces, that is high quality stuff mate. But I have to admit that custom (not scanned) faces look horrible, like Robben...

Guys patients .. all screen are taken with a mobile phone you can't judge on her screenshot ( just for 3d, but not for the texture and the lighting because, the picture taken with a mobile have a post traitement , changes many information .)
