9 subs on bench

Is there a mode to have 9 substitutes on the bench in career mode?, I've literally searched everywhere... I even went as far as modding it myself but to no avail. I changed the numofsubsonbench in the FIFA editor tool to 9 and also the one in the gamesettings file but it only works in team management and never in the game. If there's a mod for this please share

Can't be done in any game prior to EA FC 25
