    But it’s a little unclear to me where I should load the new kits in the editor: jersey_120000_0_0_color.png, shorts_120000_0_0_color.png, socks_120000_0_0_color.png and all the others. I don't want to replace the original command kits.

    Ok bro. As I said, if you don't want to replace the original command kits(such as 120000), then you should go to find a kit folder which does not really exist in the career mod. Like the fut_vanity_team. and you import your kits to that folder. So actually you will not import your file into the folder of 120000, so it will not replace the original command kits.
