Agreed. So many dull games ending 0-0, 1-0 or 1-1. But to be fair, we're only on day 5. Maybe the excitement is yet to come. Its been a very bad start to the WC.

What a bunch of bad games...defenses are super tight and the tactics have been equaly stupid...such as demonstrated by Deco's revelation about Quiroz's tactics....launch it and hope someone gets it, pretty much what everyone except for Argentina, Germany and to a lesser extend south Korea have been doing...just horrid.

I am sure Spain will show them how its done properly!!

If Switzerland can open their tournament the way they did against the Real Madrid connection(Zidane then Xabi Alonso now) in 2006 (0-0), then that would be something(not much though) to counter my almost total lack of interest in this appalling tournament.

What a sh*t tournament so far. I don't know what to blame it on. Empty seats, vuvuzelas, the Jabulani ball, high profile player injuries, cautious and ultra-defensive approach by many teams, etc..

Out of all these, blaming the Jabulani would be the lamest. Players were bitching about the Fevernova and Teimgeist as well when they came out. Thats ridiculous.
