More Tips and Tricks For Keyboard Users

Features:

90° Bicycle Kick: make a cross, stay with the body perpendicular to the goal line and type D. For some people the occurrences of the bicycle kick were too high, if you want to be sure to hit the ball with the head on a high cross type W instead of D.
180° Bicycle Kick: make a lob pass from the midfield, stay with your back toward the the goal line and type D.
Chest pass: make a lob pass and type S before you receive the ball.
Fake Shot: two new movements added to the original one. Press together Z + D.
New dribbling added
Forward Flick: Shift + Ahead Arrow while the ball is in movement
Quick Sole Touch + Other Internal Foot: Shift + Left Arrow (or Right Arrow) while the ball is in movement
Heel touch behind the other leg: Shift + Left Arrow (or Right Arrow) while the ball is in movement
Ronaldinho’s Elastico: two ways, Shift + Ahead Arrow while the ball is in movement or Shift + Right Arrow while the ball is stopped
Double Touch and small Flick Ahead: Shift + Ahead Arrow while the ball is stopped
Zidane’s rollcastle: as usual you can make it pressing Shift + Left Arrow and Ahead Arrow quickly while the ball is moving, now you can make a rollcastle also when the ball is stopped pressing Shift + Left Arrow
Heel Shot: type D shortly while you have your back toward the goal line.
New inside foot shot: type D shortly while inside the box.
Stretch shot: type D shortly while sprinting or type D shortly before you receive the ball from a low cross in the box.
New keeper saves: nothing to do, just play and enjoy the new skills of your keeper. You will notice that now it is easier to beat the keeper in a one-one situation.

On one on one situations I usually try to round the keeper and score with a low shot...but still hard to do with defenders on ur tail

The chip (Q+W)is harder in 06 than it was in 05 coz the ball simply doesnt go high enough

for chipping i simply give the button A a tap, but u have to have a very crisp timing, what i do is this

one 1v1 situation i bring the ball (without running, E) until i reach the line that draws through the penalty point (if u know what i mean) by that second the keep will start charging and just chip is over him,

2 important factors to consider before making a chip
1. your striker's form, bad form = bad chip often missed by many a margin
2. the keepers position, if he stays on the line, chipping is useless

but if as I am playing against world class comp now, its almost impossible to beat the keep on 1v1 because placement comes before everything else on this difficulty lvl

even I play in WC mode with NK's gameplay update V6 installed so that makes scoriing a bit harder on 1v1 when the GK is charging

on 1v1 when i press A & if there is a second striker nearby a lob is automatically made..annoying ..very annoying

If you want to chip, it is best to do it when the keeper charges like Daccorn said, even though I chipped the ball once into the far right corner and actually beat the keeper in line, but I think it was one in a million.

I have 360ed the keeper, but the animation is bad, by this I mean, when I'm getting close, I do a 360 spin and the keeper just looks at you. Doesn't do anything. Might be a bug.

I've only done a bicycle kick once, tapped B (X-Box) on the right time with a Real Madrid B Player. His stat was around 86 and he wasn't a star player (Like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, etc.)

I hate that, when the ball is headed towards your keeper and it doesn't get to the box, he stands there and waits until your defense or rival gets close before blasting it off. Quite idiotic.

And, even some people may contradict this, your keeper is worthless at times. Because, there have been times when the ball is between my keeper and rival forward and my keeper will just follow the player and throw himself at the ball only after the forward kicks.

I still can't master the flick, over the head, thing. Getting frustrated.

BTW i still havent mastered the 360 spin--long gone are those days when the 360 spin was donr using a single button ALT ...in fifa 2001 precisely

even in prcatice mode i just move the fingers of my right hand on all the arrow keys and one finger is on the Shift button and then he does it...but i dont have too much confidence...
so can u help me..u seem to be a champ at that

Use goalkeeper charge (w on pc) and the keeper will shoot the ball

love playing with my brother and use GK charge when he is far away, he is super precise and it never becomes a freekick though it should.

Um, I don't know how to doa 360 for PC, but, there is this Tips and Tricks manual for PC available on the FIFA 06 site, it's one of the top downloads, you should really check it out, explains all the tricks.

On the goal keeper charge, what I mean is that if I charge my keeper he may walk close to the ball and stop. No touching. He waits for either your defense or rival to get close before either kicking it off or grabbing it.
