giving a yes/no may not be brain surgery, but planning one's career is as important as it gets ...

people like to experience different things, even in football ... I know fans always applaud players for staying with one team for their entire careers or for the bulk of their careers, but I frankly don't go over the top about it ... it's fine if you want to that, but I personally feel that I want to experience everything while I'm young, and staying put in one place just wouldn't cut it ... a footballer's career happens during the prime of his life, and to want to experience new things is not just normal, but should be encouraged ...

the idea of loyalty is not in question, nor is integrity -- you should always commit to the moment ... if a player plays for a club at a particular time and admits (when asked) that he one day may move on, his honesty should be appreciated; to question his commitment is unfair and unjust ...

Cristiano Ronaldo flip-flops between "yes" and "maybe" when asked if he's staying because that is the dilemma he faces ... he is forced to make comments because the press hounds him on his future ... doesn't change the fact that it's a big decision, and can't be rushed ...

Vaart has the potential, and has shown that he can be as good if not better than Silva. I dunno why he's not being played, but it's hurting his international status as well.

Sneijder is better than Silva, no doubt about it. Just because they play for Madrid doesn't mean they're crap, as someone who spends as much time as yourself on footy, you should learn to appreciate players for their worth no matter where they play.

Vaart has not played much because he has been crap.

As for Sneider well he has kind of become Ronaldinho #2, cheats on his wife, keeps parting even when he is injured, than comes back to play like ****, than is again injured but no one knows what the hell is happening with him, and more late night party..... the guy needs to get his life togeather than we can see the best of him but who nows when that will be? He just pissed away a whole season.

As for CR, I'm guessing Perez wants to do a player and money type of deal to bring the price down a bit and get some player or maybe even players out that he does not want.

Their website is reporting that Real Madrid have agreed to pay £75million for Cristiano Ronaldo.


They claim Manchester United have finally caved in after a couple of years of resistance, quoting Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo as saying a Real club doctor has flown to LA to meet Ronaldo and give him and his hernia the once over.


According to the paper, he'll be given a £200,000-a-week contract.

Is the price really that high though? 93 million euros sounds a lot for sure but think about it, if you account for inflation it's really not that much more than Zidane's transfer and Ronaldo is younger and a marketing cow as well.

Kind of werid considering that they depend on him so much in their gameplay. Also about Robben, I am not so sure Robben will be here next season so if that helps any...I know how frustrating Robben can be but anyway he does not really fit into Pellegrini's system, it's just finding a buyer that might be the problem. Our coach uses a 4-2-2-2 and plans to use Ronaldo as a forward.

When you say 2-3 players with that money, like who? I keep hearing them saying we can use it go get Ribery, Benzema, and De Rossi but hoesntly if they get a world class or high profile player than most of that 80 mill is going to be used right than and there. I am thinking most of that will go to paying their debt.
