PES3 "play ahead" gone horribly wrong.

k this is my first post and i gotta give a big hello and much luv to every other iss/pes fan out there.

and as a big pes lover i am, i went and bought pes3. been playing it for a week straight now, cant stop either. as much as i wanna adress how amazing this game has turnd up to be, i cant help to get annoyed at just ONE thing.

the "play ahead" rule shouldnt have been in, or at least should be possible to toggle on/off, cause most times, it gives the tackler the advantage (which is horribly horribly wrong). i play lots of human vs human and konami cups round robin style games with my friends, and we end up cussing at the referee more than Roy Keane on his worst day. neighbors are complaining even, not on the ref tho, but on our yelling. and we tell him: ITS THE GODAMN REF!

we still love the game 120% tho. and we will never stop playing it. or cussing at the ref. until pes4 comes and does something about it i guess.

Well hopefully Konami will be releasing patches to improve the game and fix their misstakes

Anyway, cussing at the game is very healthy, it's scientifically proven.

I haven't found much advantage in the advantage rule yet, so it's not horribly wrong, although I have to play more I think.

Yeah i dont like it much either, judging by the interest the pc game is starting to generate im sure some "geek" (sorry for the term i love you all) will create a patch to rectify the advantage rule, or any other rule you so choose to change for that matter.

'Cussing' at the referee is part of football

Anyway the referee only gives advantage when the ball land on the tackled player's teammate... or himself. Don't see what's wrong here.

Well I have trouble with it when the ball just bounces on my team mate and goes to the opposition. Thats when it gets messed up for me.

uhh, i think someone dont know what the play ahead rule is all about or its just me. see, in real life, if a player has the ball, and gets tackled, but DONT lose the ball and has a fair chance of goin ahead and make a scoring chance for the team or himself, the ref signalises "play ahead"

now, if that play ahead was to be canceled, its because the tackler got the ball, or any other opposing teammate gets the ball, because of the foul that got "play ahead"

and in PES3, when the ref signalises "play ahead" and the tackler runs away with the ball at the same time as the icon flashes...leaves me and my friends with a huge dissapointment and a questionmark saying how and why? and alot of cussing

Well at least the play ahead only shows to me when I get tackled after a maid a pass to a team mate. Sometimes a tackle gets in and my player is not knocked to the floor and then I also get the play ahead icon

Hmm.. honestly, didn't happen to me in WE7. I hope it's not a bug in PES3.

Its in We7 as well, the advantage rule is often screwed up...

im not saying it happens everytime, but at times its like "hey IM gonna tackle u, and IM the one getting the advantage"
