Moddingway Mod Bugs/Complaints Thread

Because you can't use edited files online and EA downloads its own files for Online play to keep all players game setups the same. Faces/boots and other stuff will work however, but kits won't. As shouldn't squads be updated.
 
No..I know that..I uncheked the ea stuff in MW Selector. I don't even see new kits in CM. That's what i mean.
 
Because DB7.0 puts the new kits in a directory called kitsns. (kits new season) CM14 will only look in the kits directory.

Oooh..mate..that's a good answer..I didn't noticed that..Yeah, there's that folder.

Well..just to know (late i will check if now works). Why is that? Maybe I missed a part in the instructions were they say it. Have to put kits manually?

Lukáš Mareček from Sparta Prague is not from Slovakia, he is Czech and his name is Lukáš not Lukás.

Also Polom shoud't have higher overall then Holek, he (Holek) is one of the best CB in Czech. During the game, his overall stays 67 and Polom overgrowth him to be decent 69. Pavel Kadeřábek is underrated as well. He is in top for for almost a year, plays for Czech NT, so 67 at last would be better for him - more stamina and jumping, also, he is better then Rajtoral from Plzeň (74) .

Marek Matějovský is CM not CAM, Konaté is RM or RW, Hušbauer CM or even CAM. Breznaník is not LB, he is LM, or even LW, he could play as defender but it's not his position.

In the mod everything is fine except this. I didn't saw anyone else having this issue so please if anyone knows solution, help please, this is irritating me so badly.
As you can see on image, when starting pop-up of the game appears, it's not fullscreen as it should be. This is happening with Bundesliga, Premier League, Champions League and FIFA scoreboard, Ligue 1 and Liga BBVA are fine. I tried with both 4:3 and 16:9 in MWM selector but same thing happens. Also i added in all slots 'default', but only scoreboards are default, not the game intro pop-up.
 
I have a problem there...Well..It's not a BIG problem, but it's starting to touch my balls... I forced the ESPN Scoreboard and popups...And now there's no way to take it off. Is ESPN for evry f*cking League, Tournament, Friendly Match..EVRYTHING... I deleted THE WHOLE OVERLAYS FOLDER, mate...I tried deletin´ a "FORCE_OVERLAY_BLAH_BLAH" line in CL.INI, but there was no line there..

I can play, no drama with that..but I want to play with original scoreboards, Premier League, Bundesliga, etc...

If anyone has a solution, please..be nice.

It's not necessary to deleted all files in overlay folder because ESPN scoreboard is not there, just deleted CL.ini file in: "fifa/game" folder or just go to selector and choose default scoreboards.

No..thanks mate..but didn't work. I still have ESPN popups and scoreboard in every match, tournament or friendly.

After installing updates 3.8.0 and 3.8.1 Parma's player Sotiris Ninis (ID 181460) disappeared from database. Could there be more?

Also, I would like to share fixed russian language DB. I took DB that goes with MW patch and corrected some wrong/stupid translations that've been in the game since, at least, FIFA 12.
Here you go: Language strings.txt and rus_ru.DB
 
After installing 3.8.0 and 3.8.1, so many faces were missing. Like Rakitic, Olic, Vida, Perisic, Vrsalijko (the five from Croatia in my Career mode), Cabaye, Cabella, Javier Hernandez, and so many more... What I did wrong?
 
Not a bug, but a question:

If I've started a player career, but want to start a manager career using a different database, I can backup my current database. Where does it save the backup so I can switch them back and forth?

the moddingway selector asks you to create backup db when you change db or there is also a backup db button below db selection. Then a backup db will appear as an option for a db when you select db's. It's fairly straight forward so hopefully you can figure it out.
 
I thought I had remembered seeing that option before, but it's not showing as a selectable db.

i have installed the latest moddingway mods updates for fifa 14
everything is fine ( transfers , new teams and balls )
but there is no new kits ,, it's all the last season kits !!
can anybody help me how to display the new kits in the game please ??

in scenessets you'll find a folder named "kitsns", there are all the new kits..Also, you can search and find many folders that ends in "ns" (new season)..I have the same problem and that's how i fix it..just paste files of the "ns" folders and paste it in normal folders.

It's the same with other stuff, just find every folder that ends with "ns" and put that files in correct folders.

I install every MW update and don't know why is that happens.
