Sterling is overrated. Very little end product. And Sturridge didn't really shine either.

Is 36m a good price for him? Seems a bit overpriced. Haven't seen much of him but based on videos, he will provide something different: few through passes and accurate long balls that none of our midfield can provide. His style seems a bit like Rakitic
How is his chance of playing for Spain in the future? If we buy him, we'll need at least 1 more midfielder, a defensive one.

Valencia has been super sh*t this world cup. 1 yellow card and 1 red card and was not involved much offensively. Other than run and cross, he can do nothing. Time to go back to Wigan. He's been poor for a long time.

28 million pounds is reasonable considering we paid 22 millions for Hargeaves 7 years ago and 23 millions for Carrick 8 years ago.
Herrera seems to be a good all-round midfielder - very good defensively and makes great passes. His passing rate is 80% but that's because he attempts more killer passes than someone like Carrick. He has played as an AMF most of this season I think.
