Yes, I would use Scolari's 23 if.. he could pick a decent squad... but he can't so... though luck... All 3 keepers stink, and yes Joaquim Silva too, i would put Meira in instead of petit, it's good to have some muscle in front, just to intimidate the likes of Karini, Dalei, etc.
Also.. Nuno Gomes always plays good for the NT, better than Benfica, I choose him instead of "The Cheese Guy"

My view is that Lamps or Gerrard has got to go and i'd personally choose Gerrard over Lamps, though i'd be perfectly happy with Lamps there instead of Gerrard but i just think that with Carrick playing, Gerrard can play the same way he does for Liverpool which is incredibly influential and driving which is what England are lacking at the moment. I just don't think Lamps offers the same drive the Gerrard does.

Totally aggree with you mate, I find Lampard to be a tad overrated and I would much rather have Gerrard in my first team than him, Gerrard is more of a complete player than Lampard. Gerrards work rate is phenomonal, and I find Lampard to be a bit lazy.

That's just my opinion though...

he is a great center foward in my opinion, it's not just a coincidence that he was the top scorer in the mexican league 5 times also scored alot of goals in argentina and uruguay, i think hes a great cf.
we do have alot of great CF's, i would put zalayeta for abreu but zalayeta misses alot of good scoring chances while abreu doesn't.

yea he didn't do well in deportivo, he came back to uruguay and did well and now hes in mexico and hes doing great and is considered one of the best CF in the league.
