I think that this is not possible.

i'm interested on how did skeptik convert kit model file to 3ds. Hope he will response to me. :)

its 100% possible.

use oedit to export the .o file in milkshape format(txt) and than open the milkshap.txt file using blender. than export the file as .3ds

simple ;)

as to hw skeptik did it he has done a script that would allow u to convert the .3d file t .o file

download his untucked shirt patch and u will knw wat i mean ;)

I think yes. I just dont know the second way: from 3ds to O

instead of selecting rhino points select milkshape 3D ASCII

as for the second way there re 2 methods to do tht:

1) use skeptiks script to convert the .3ds files to .o files
2) using zmodeler 1.07 export the .3ds file as .oif file(using the oif plugin for zmodeler) and than convert the oif file to o file usng oiftool

however i am unsuccesfully in using bth methods. for the 1st 1 i asked skeptik for his script but he hasnt still provided it to me and for the 2nd i tried a lot bt couldnt find any oif plugin

I tried this one, and it worked on importing the milkshape .txt file to Blender, but when i export it to .3ds the file size it's really small, about 386 bits.

about oif plugin for zmodeler 1.07 try searching it on google, and you'll find it really fast (i did).
But there is a problem with OIF Tool: when you export .o file to .oif the model is loosing some data from it's code (don't know exactly how i should say this) and after you convert .oif to .o again, the model file it's corrupted( e.g. m200_.o will have black parts in-game on the modification area).
That's why i'm trying to find another way to convert from .o to .3ds.
