Take a leaf out of Australia's books.

NO ONE is allowed to carry a weapon around with them. You can get a gun license to hunt, or if you're a sporting shooter. But you can never own semi automatics (there is no need for them, and we've gone fine over here without them). Handguns need a different license (as they can be concealed etc).

All firearms need to be kept in a locked cabinet, separate from the ammunition which is in a different locked cabinet. They can only be taken out when being used, cleaned etc.

There are also loads of rules about correct transportation of firearms as well, but I'm not 100% on them.

i do not care what that chart says nim, i would rather know we have more than enough weaponry to handle any situation, the fact those countries have such low numbers is their problem and they will be sorry when they will need them and they did not spend the money for them.

we have some laws as far as transportation goes, they sell gun cabinets here but we are not required to keep the guns in them or the ammo in a different location (but this does apply to guns in a vehicle).

you also need a concealed license permit here to carry a concealed weapon.

i don't think they will change the standard on the type of weapon be it a pistol, semi or auto due to the second amendment and they are all guns in general.

You just pretty much self projected yourself there. There's people here giving solutions, constructive responses and replying in an otherwise respectful manner, but your close mindedness (especially when you completely overlook facts and data posted) is completely palpitating.


I don't even have so much of a problem with guns. I mean, they're obviously way too readily available, and most of them aren't even necessary. What bugs me is the people that defend them with ridiculous arguments and cop outs, and you personify that to a T.
