Yes it fixed the first problem, but for some reason the game still crashes when I have substitution..

Is there anyone who can tell me if they have the same problem with the Eredivisie scoreboards ?

That point would be overlay_9021 (big substitution), but it is not crashing for me. Just tried it.

Are EFL and/or Turkish Süperlig (or any of the later releases) crashing as well? If not take overlay_9021.big from any of them and try again please. Let me know if it worked.

@pao4ever yes. This is totaly new ones. We dont have 21/22 popups. We only have new scoreboard but last season popups. And they are different.

I already downloaded them. As Bundesliga is the first high tier league i made the overlays for I think it is worth a try adding the correct font. If I succeed I will update the old ones as well.
But theory and practice proved to be quite different not only once with overlays

So here today's findings regarding fonts type:

The template I use (the one from the tutorial) i divided now in two categories:

Category 1: like overlay 9002 (resp, 7002) are done. Here only the font name needs to be altered in the hex and it works fine (ex 9018 formation screen except team name, 9021 substitution big except player names, penalties...)

Category 2: font name is controlled in Hex 1 and looks like this:

only found these four values, so assumption is that the original font files need to be changed/overwritten/replaced (ex 9042, 9001 player name, 9020, 9018 team name)

Question: Has anyone any info about category 2? Just asking as it may take a while to find a way around, if possible at all. This category has very limited values even with font colours.

Update regarding Fonts category 2:

Short version: no success so far

Long version (only for those who want to help or are interested in editing details):

The only partial success I reached with the string “FONT_NAME_EPL”

The idea was that I change all overlays to “EPL” – the font used in the default premier league overlays - than replace the font file.

Step 1 (changing the HEX to “FONT_NAME_EPL”) was successful where the original value was “FONT_NAME_HEAVY” or “FONT_NAME_BUNDESLIGA”. In some overlays the value was already EPL but the font is not correctly used. Could not change it. Changing “FONT_NAME_BOLD” to EPL caused a crash. (Tried “EPL_BOLD” as well) So the result is just partial success again.

Step 2 changing the font file. In original FIFA is the file “premierleague1.ttf”. I extracted it to check the contents. When opening it is completely empty. I tried to replace the file with the DFL Sans but it only had the result that instead of the Premier League font the default EA one was used (but at least no crash). As mentioned a few times before I am not good with this topic so maybe someone has an idea. Whatever it is I will give it a try at least.

I will experiment further but if requested I can release Bundesliga in its current state end of next week after recolouring the textures.

PS: I will be offline the weekend. It’s Derby on Sunday. Even with chances for the fourth title in a row.

As mentioned several times already I want to point out that this is a FIFA 16 thread. I do not own any other FIFA for PC (Ok that is a lie, I have 98 and 99 but not running anymore)

BUT! I make an offer: if someone provides a valid and legal (!) FIFA 14 key I will research the topic.

As any investment it does have risks:
- I have no experience with FIFA 14
- I do not know what tools are needed, available and if, are they working on win10
- Success and a time frame are not guaranteed. (which means zero return on investment)
- FIFA 16 will remain priority (before that my family, my job, my club and my beer)

If anyone is taking this seriously please note it took me about 9-10 months to get where I am know and it is far from ready (I am talking about overlays for FIFA 16). So it is very likely to be money thrown out the window.

Note to the Administrators: If such an offer violates forum rules please delete the post.

I made the neutral version as requested by @nikolapfc89 but kept the red version as well. The reason is if anyone wants to recolour for his own team or taste no hex editing regarding font colours is needed.

This is a new fair play feature. Game punishes you when fouling

I will check and reupload if necessary as soon as I find the time, hopefully tonight. (Must be the 9 not changed to a 7 in overlay 7013 or 7072, for those who don't want to wait. At the start of the Hex 0)
