EA screwed us again. No tool from FIFA 12 is working with FIFA 13 file system from what I've tested so far. Dragon Unpacker can't open the big files. Texmod is not working because, when I run fifa.exe, Origin starts fifaconfig.exe. If I start fifaconfig.exe, it's not working either.

Yes, they changed big files compression... Nothing dramatic still, compression is the easiest thing to understand!

I can't say about other graphics but I found out that the kits template remained the same as FIFA 12. TexMod worked for me when I disabled "In game origin" but when I exit the game, al saved textures are black..

I've managed to get TexMod working. Simply copy texmod.exe in FIFA12/Game/fifaconfig, rename fifaconfig.exe in some random name, and rename texmod.exe in fifaconfig.exe. Then, start the game from Origin.

Terrible optimization from EA, the game isn't working properly even at the lowest settings on an i7, 525 M, and 4 GB RAM. This is just stupid. FIFA 12 was working fantastic at the highest settings.

i5, 8GB, hd5770, fullhd all settings to max and no problem at all...

Mate, I've been running all games in the highest settings [ maybe Crysis 2 in medium ], including Mass Effect 3. But now I have problems even in the lowest settings. It's not about my configuration.

BAD optimization ¬¬ i have AMD Phenom II X6, 4GB RAM and nVidia Geforce GTX460, FIFA 12 runs perfect at FULL HD 60fps and this??? even at lowest graphics still runs at 25-30fps ¬¬ i have configured with 30-60 pfs limitation and limitation = off, the result is the same **** WTF EA

Try:
disabling vsync
disabling windows aero effects (there is option in fifasetup)
go on Documents\Fifa 13 Demo, open fifasetup.ini file and edit SCREEN_SLEEP = 0 to SCREEN_SLEEP = 16.
