FIFA 07 Database Editor

Hi, I've read all pages of the thread but I haven't found a clear answer to the problem with Access and the ActiveX and OLE objects. Can someone be specific about finding a solution to that?

and second, the files of manager mode saves, are without an extension, just the name you have entered as a manager. Are they also .db files, just not named that way, and how can somebody edit these specific files?

Thanks

No, they are in a different format, although they do use some of the same data structures.

To the best of my knowledge there are no tools that allow general editing of career files.

thanks stevepitts, however I would still like to know if anybody else knows something about editing the manager saves files.
Since it is possible to edit the entire fifa database, I assume it can't be so much different from that. I tried using a hex editor but didn't find out much, maybe I didn't used it correctly ofcourse. I have only basic programming skills.

anybody knowing about it is more than welcome....

The underlying 'table' structures are the same as in the FIFA.DB, but the manager mode file has a twelve byte CRC (which might present a problem when editing - although possibly not since folk have successfully clobbered the money field without the CRC being changed as well) and a much 'looser' structure than the DB (I can't think of a better way of describing it. The FIFA.DB has a very fixed structure, with every byte accounted for and pointers to each internal section. The manager mode has a lot more 'free space' with no obvious way of identifying where each 'table' starts)

What do you need to know?? I am probably the 'resident expert' and I'd like to think that I've worked out most of what is there (I have an analyser tool that reads the manager mode data, I've just never bothered trying to edit it)

Has anyone got a fix for the Microsoft Access ****up yet? I have all security set to low, I have launch pad installed (although I think it's a program used to make ActiveX controls, not to properly use them), I have Access 2007 and yet I cant click anything except the initial two buttons without that damn error. Any help would be good, or any news about a better, bug-free editor?
