I wanted to let you know that I have asked ACICOG to remove the database selector tool. It's something I don't approve of and if you have criticisms you only have to make them to me (I don't listen to you anyway).

I am against any external form of selection because editing is dying. I would like those who use the patch to know a minimum of how FIFA works. I would like him to know how to replace a face if maybe he doesn't like the EA one. I wish they were able to make small fixes themselves instead of waiting months for the next release. But the bottom line is that I'm interested in people learning how the game works, not how a selector works. Learning to use a selector doesn't help you modify the game. It doesn't make you change a face, it doesn't make you change a texture kit, a team logo. It doesn't incentivize creating something of his own. If a person becomes familiar with the game, how and where the files are, he is more incentivized to do something. If you give him a closed box where he has to select a database this will never happen. Having everything ready in two clicks distances a person from editing. Even changing a DLC or a DB manually is a first step, a very trivial first step. But still a first step.

The one that says CLASSIC.... and I don't know what else. Does anyone know how to prioritize the ones I select from SERVER16?

The best solution is to take the game, crash it until you figure out where you're going wrong and fix it. Not just for FIFA, for every game (this is the rule that I was told when I started for FIFA, the same rule that was told to me for rfactor and for the Paradox games that I love to edit) If you make a mistake you understand much more than a thousand guides because you gain experience. The only advice I can give is to make backups to start again from those. I'm currently learning how to make small changes with the stadiums and I spent days and days making the game crash until I understood what should I do. I still make it crash but less frequently. But what have I understood from the crashes? That I shouldn't do that particular thing. That it's better to do that step first. And I'm talking about complex stuff like stadiums. Who wants to get close to editing has the tool par excellence which is fool-proof from what can be understood, namely, the Creation Master. If a person learns to use the Creation Master he has solved 90% of his problems. Move players, create a team, insert shirts, create players, create tournaments, assign boots, assign balls, change tactics, change the starting 11, change the captain. Basic editing is all in that program. I'm not saying that I have to create faces and stadiums for which patience and I think also a bit of madness are needed. But learning to do small things like those indicated above is within everyone's reach, really everyone. All you need is the desire to put your hand to the CM. You don't need guides for that. Just poke around...

Hi guys, I am enjoying this patch but I notice certain game assets are missing and I am not sure if I am the only one. I was playing France 1958 vs Brazil 1958 and I notice that when the referee holds up a yellow card, his hand is empty and the card is not seen. In other dbs when the substitution board is held up the board is not seen and the sideman does the animation to hold up the board but there is no substitution board seen. Also, how can I get the player name bar to show at the bottom of the screen for all databases? It is not seen even though it is selected to be shown from the game settings. Simply because in 50s there aren't the yellow/red cards. Same for the digital board and micrphone
