cutted socks, ankle tape

i wanted those cutted socks like most the players have today in my game. the generic ankle tapes don't fit on the new legs for the actuell boot models. so pao told me, the only possibility could be to add it directly on the socks.

so here is my first try. i made white stripes and put it on the socks textures. i'm glad with the result but i'm asking myself if there's an easier way?! maybe someone has another idea to get this effect.

if someone likes to use the stripes i made, i uploaded them here. i made 2 versions, one is a bit higher on the socks but difference isn't so big.
to install you have to copy/paste it in the socks texture of your kit files with something like paint net or photoshop for the teams you want.

it's also possible to combinate with ankle tapes i recolored. this files are also included. the player, team and kit id has to be changed and insert in accessory folder.
if a player has one colored tape you have to do it for each kit he uses with this team!!!

if i'll find time the weekend, i will do.
but how i explained before, you need to use a graphic app (i use paint net) and add the stripes on the socks textures of your kit files.

you'll have it to do like this. i use paint.net to edit the textures.

1. take the textures of your kit file with the socks and open with paint.net.

2. open the texture with the white stripes (vs1 or vs2 is your choice)

3. choose the tool magic stick and click in the middle of the texture

4. you have to insert selection to copy only the white stripes and not the whole texture

5. at least copy and paste it in the texture you opened first and it will look like this

6. install the texture in your kit file again and that's all.

you can combinate it also with the ankle tape like this

i'm only using kit in dimensions 1024x1024, if you use the 2048x kits you must change the dimensions of the stripes texture before.
the ankle tapes are made by kimonos and fitting on the legs made for the new boots by pao and topik, so it will only fit if you use this legs too.

yes, if the textures are dim. 1024x512. you just have to copy the stripes into the socks texture.
