There are limitations. I don’t know the exact number but there are line limits in every file and each file has different limits. Even if the db was limitless. The language files limit means you won’t be able to name all the teams or leagues. From my experience compdata is what limits you the most.

Depends on the competitions involved for compdata. I think it should be fine but depends on the number of teams. We have added 14 leagues and a total of 171 teams. All teams and leagues are named without issue. The only issue came in compdata that I had to modify it a bit mostly by removing the women’s competitions.

But you can do it like this, you don't make the language file for the teams, but the names of the teams look ridiculous, I'm okay with that too.

We have 14 new leagues and 5 new tournaments fully working in career mode but not all leagues have the format they are in real life as my main concern was adding all competitions and then restructure to their actual formats.

You can add more teams and leagues, initially I added all national teams as well but removed them as our focus was towards club competitions. We haven’t reached the limit for teams or leagues and I don’t know what the limit are. I know I could at least add all national teams. The biggest issue i found with adding more leagues and teams would be compdata limits but you could have them just for kick off.

Are you referring to them being in career mode as well or just available for kickoff?
