Hello, dear friends of the wonderful SG community!!

Here is the 2025 version of what's starting to become a classic patch. These time with the very relevant upgrade of including the CG file server which allows for night games, more stadiums, intro custom movies to many leagues and tv logos. This version contains the current FIFA Club World Cup with the updated rosters of all competing teams, plus all the south american leagues qualifying to Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana, all the argentinian leagues and the fantasy UEFA, CAF, AFC, OFC and CONCACAF leagues as usual adding the continental club competitions for all confederations that qualify to the FIFA intercontinental Cup.

For this patch, i included material from many sources (most of them collected from this forum), stadiums from fifa friends, gonzaga, etc, kits from rescalon, malkipsia, etc and faces/heads from the spectacular FIP patch. If you find your material in the patch, please let me know and I'll do the mandatory quote, it's just such a large volume of items that I honestly ended up not knowing where I got it from

As with last year's patch, this one is oriented towards season mode, where you can play all the competitions that your selected team will compete in (provided it is a south american team) and qualify to next seasons competitions. The system seams to work fine for at least 4 or 5 seasons. No crashes, no blank competition bugs

Here is the content description:

ARGENTINA:

As usual, Primera A, nacional B, Primera B Metro, Federal A and Primera C. All leagues with their original format and schedule for the first season (except for Primera B Metro that has a long 2 round tournament instead of Apertura and Clausura). All team rosters up to date as of May 2025. New kits, night glares for most stadiums,

River Plate - Antonio Vespucio Liberti (New version, renovated with new lights)
Boca Juniors - La Bombonera
Independiente de Avellaneda - Libertadores de America (with new lights)
Racing de Avellaneda - Cilindro
San Lorenzo - Pedro Bidegain
Huracan - Tomas A Duco
Velez - Jose Amalfitani
Argentinos Juniors - Diego Armando Maradona
Dep. Riestra - Guillermo Laza
Barracas Central - Claudio Chiqui Tapia

Newell's - Marcelo Bielsa
Talleres de Cordoba - Francisco Cabases
Belgrano de Cordoba - Julio César Villagra
Instituto de Cordoba - Alta Cordoba
Independiente Rivadavia - Bautista Gargantini
Godoy Cruz - Feliciano Gambarte
Atletico Tucuman - Jose Fierro
Union de Santa Fe - 15 de Abril (new version with the finished upper stands)
Aldosivi - Adolfo Lopez (this stadium does not exist anymore but a friend of mine, fan of Aldosivi, asked me to keep it)
San Martin de San Juan - Hilario Sanchez (new Lights)
Sarmiento de Junin - Eva Peron
Central Cordoba de Santiago del Estero - Alfredo Terrera

Apertura and Clausura format, with two groups of 15 and interzonal games, plus play-off round as in real life. I had to add a play-off to determine the relegation, since FIFA 16 does not allow for a combined apertura and clausura table. You can qualify to continental cups and play copa argentina in season mode

Defensores de Belgrano - Juan Pasquale (new lights)
Gimnasia de Jujuy - 23 de Agosto
Gimnasia de Mendoza - Victor Legrotaglie
Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta - Gigante del Norte (new lights)
San Martin de Tucuman - Ciudadela (new lights)

Almagro - 3 de Febrero
Estudiantes de Caseros - Ciudad de Caseros (new lights)
Estudiantes de Rio IV - Antonio Candini

Quilmes - Centenario de Quilmes
Colegiales - Libertarios Unidos
San Miguel - Los Polvorines (new lights)
Tristan Suarez - 20 de Octubre (new lights)
Chacarita - 18 de Julio (new lights)
Dep. Moron - Nuevo Francisco Urbano (new lights)
Almirante Brown - Fragata Sarmiento (new lights)
All Boys - Islas Malvinas (new lights)
Nueva Chicago - Republica de Mataderos (new lights)
Atlanta - Leon Kolbowski (new lights)
Ferro - Arquitecto Etcheverri (new lights)
Dep. Madryn - Abel Sastre
Los Andes - Eduardo Gallardon (new lights)
Temperley - Alfredo Martín Beranger
Dep. Maipu - Omar Higinio Sperdutti (new lights)
Racing de Cordoba - Miguel Sancho (new lights)
Defensores Unidos de Zarate - Gigante de Villa Fox (new lights)
Central Norte de Salta - Luis Güemes (new lights)
Chaco for Ever - Juan Alberto García
San Telmo - Osvaldo Balletto (new lights)
Talleres de Remedios de Escalada - Pablo Comelli (new lights)
Argentino Agropecuario de Carlos Casares - Ofelia Rozenzuaig

Two zones of 18 teams, winners qualify for the final, from 2nd to 8th qualify to 2nd promotion reducido tournament. I had to add a relegation play-off to zone B between the 16th and 17th with home and sport advantage for the 16th to maintain the season's flow. From 2nd to 7th in each zone qualify to copa argentina plus the best 8th. (as in real life)

Fenix - plays in the patch at reversed version of Juan Pasquale although last season played at Jose Manuel Moreno
Villa San Carlos - Genacio Salice (new version with new stands and new lights)
Ferrocarril Urquiza - Monumental de Villa Lynch
Ferrocarril Midland - Ciudad de Libertad
Brown de Adrogue - Lorenzo Arandilla
Villa Dalmine - Coliseo de Mitre y Puccini (new lights)
Flandria - Carlos V
Sacachispas - Beto Larrosa
Comunicaciones - Alfredo Ramos
Acassuso - La Quema de Boulogne Sur Mer (new lights coming from a nearby tower)
Argentino de Quilmes - Barraca Quilmeña
Argentino de Merlo - Merlo Norte (new lights)
Dep. Armenio - Estadio Armenia
Dep. Laferrere - Garrafa Sanchez
Dep. Italiano - Republica de Italia
Dep. Merlo - Jose Manuel Moreno
Sp. Dock Sud - De los Inmigrantes
San Martin de Burzaco - Francisco Boga
Liniers - Juan Antoni Arias (new lights)
Real Pilar - Carlos Barraza
Excursionistas - Pampa y Miñones (new lights)

This is the only league that does not contain the real format in season mode because the actual Apertura/Clausura format doent allow a full season secondary table to determine the teams qualifying for the 2nd promotion tournament. I preferred using the real schedule but with a round robin long tournament that promotes the champion and lets the teams from 2nd to 9th qualify for 2nd promotion and top to 5th teams qualify to copa argentina

Atletico Rafaela - Nuevo Monumental (new lights)
Crucero del Norte - Comandante Andrés Guacurari

Kimberley de Mar del Plata - Juan Alberto Valle
Dep. Argentino de Monte Maiz - Modesto Marrone
Sportivo y Biblioteca Atenas de Rio IV - 9 de Julio (new lights)

Circulo Deportivo Nicolas Otamendi de Mar del Plata - Guillermo Trama

Ciudad de Bolivar - Municipal Eva Peron

Tournament with real format, although not with real schedule, divided in 4 groups (2 of 10 teams and 2 of 9 teams) then top teams qualify to a second group stage and from that to the play-off round to establish the winner and 1st promotion, games and host in 2nd leg during play offs are decided by group stage standings as in real life. Bottom teams go to a relegation group stage and winners of this stage "revalidate" their promotion claims to another play-off round with teams falling from the run for 1st promotion. Winner of this stage obtains 2nd promotion, 10 best ranked teams qualify to copa argentina

Yupanqui - Ciudad Evita
Sportivo Barracas (does not have an actual stadium, they play home games at Nuevo Francisco Urbano)
Mercedes - Liga Mercedina
Estrella del Sur de Alejandro Korn (does not have a stadium model, I make them play at Francisco Boga)

AFA got really creative with this league, a very complicated format that I still managed to recreate almost as in real life. Two zones, one of 13 teams and the other of 14 teams, then two winners play the 1st promotion final. There's also a relegation play-off between the two bottom teams of each group, I made them relegate to the disappeared Torneo Promocional Amateur. The 2nd promotion consists of teams from 2nd to 7th place on each group, adding later the loser of the promotion final at semifinal stage. In the meantime the rest of teams play a qualifier to Copa Argentina. The winner of this qualifier, the two group stage winners and the winner of a play-off coming from the 2nd promotion and the copa argentina qualifier make it to next season's copa Argentina

As usual, selected Regional Amateur Norte and Sur are included, the twelve teams that competed and did not promote from last season's Torneo Promocional Amateur are kept (not with updated rosters) and the wildard leagues of Historicos del Nacional B and Asociacion Metropolitana serve as team source in case leagues in season mode need to add any extra during the seasons

South American Leagues have the actual quantity of teams for each first division. Rosters for the teams qualified to Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana 2025 are up to date as of may 2025, the rest of the teams are taken from the FIP rosters (which I believe are from the last months of last year)

Copa Libertadores:

Real Format, all stages, teams qualified for the first season are the ones that actually qualified to the 2025 edition. Big advantage being able to play these games at night. Final will be played at the Monumental de Lima (originally I had the Mane Garrincha from Brasilia until CONMEBOL decided to change it) Winner qualifies to FIFA Intercontinental Cup and I created a fantasy play-off to get the 6 best teams of this cup to qualify to next season's FIFA CLUB WC (yes, I had to make it a yearly event to get it to work in season mode) Winner also plays the Recopa in next season. First season has Racing Club and Botafogo.

Copa Sudamericana:

Real Format, all stages, teams qualified for the first season are the ones that actually qualified to the 2025 edition. Real venue for the play-offs that were played in neutral ground. Teams derived from Copa Libertadores play in group stage and pre round of 16 play-offs. Final is played at Tahuichi Aguilera, altough conmebol only confirmed it will be at the city of Santa Cruz de La Sierra. Winner qualifies to next season's Copa Libertadores and Recopa

FIFA Club World Cup:

Real Format, although not with real schedule. All 12 stadiums are included. Teams from all continental competitions in the patch will qualify for a fantasy Club World Cup to be played each consecutive season. I thought it was an interesting touch that made the season flow. All rosters for the 32 teams are up to date as of May 2025. All teams also have their home stadium except for Auckland City and Al Ain

River Plate
Boca Juniors
Palmeiras
Flamengo
Fluminense
Botafogo
Al Ahly
Mamelodi Sundowns
Wydad Casablanca
Esperance de Tunis
Pachuca
Monterrey
Seattle Sounders
Los Angeles FC
Inter Miami
Inter Milan
Bayern München
Porto
Benfica
Juventus
Real Madrid
Barcelona
Atletico Madrid
Paris Saint Germain
RB Salzburg
Manchester City
Chelsea
Auckland City
Al Hilal
Al Ain
Ulsan Hyundai
Urawa Red Diamonds

Lumen Field
Rose Bowl
MetLife
Bank of America Stadium
Mercedes Benz Stadium
Lincoln Financial Center
Hard Rock Stadium
Camping World
Inter&Co Stadium
Geodis Park
TQL Stadium
Audi Field

For the competition, stadiums are excluded from the server since only 4 stadiums can be assigned per stage, which would have fell short for the group stage.

Here we start with the south american leagues. As mentioned above, rosters are up to date for teams qualified to continental cups and almost up to date for the rest of first division teams. Each league has a fantasy 2nd division to promote from and relegate to. Rosters for these teams are outdated, though. Each league qualifies teams to Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana of next season. The only stadiums missing for teams participating in these cups this year are Sportivo Armeliano's, Universitario de Vinto's and Boston River (that does not have an actual home stadium). New kits and stadium lights and upgrades have been included

CONCACAF:

This year the Concachampions cup featured a new format rather similar to the new from UEFA CL and there was a new play-off stage before the Round of 16. Therefore, I decided to expand the scope of teams in this tournament to ones participating in the Round of 16.

The Fantasy first division for this confederation has the Apertura/Clausura format with play-offs at the end, like the mexican league. It qualifies teams to the Concachampions of the next season and 5 teams make it to the FIFA Club WC (therefore, there is a play-off like it happened in real life between America de Mexico and Los Angeles FC)

Union of European Football Associations:

All right, and for the old continent we have as usual the knock out stage of this year's Champions League, with the final reserved to be played at Allianz Arena Stadium. Thank God i did not have to get into the troubles of making the group/first phase of this year. Winner of CL qualifies to final of Intercontinental Cup and best 12 qualify to FIFA Club WC every given season

Two Fantasy Leagues. The top one with the more relevant teams of the last couple of seasons and the 2nd division with a more assorted list. Many people told me that what discouraged them from playing these fantasy leagues was the fact that teams played in generic stadiums, and that was more disturbing in the case of Europe. Now with cg server this issue has been solved.

Additional stuff:

The Classic Argentinian Teams have been placed again in Rest of The World but as a proper league.

River Plate 1930s - Av. Alvear y Tagle
Boca Juniors 1940s - Camilo Cichero
Alumni Athletic (does not have a stadium, i put it to play in Darsena Sur, River Plate's first home ground)
Belgrano Athletic (plays at generic stadium)
Independiente 1960s - Doble Visera de Cemento
Racing Club 1945-50 - Juan Domingo Peron (new stadium, without the roof, with the old classic tower)
Huracan 1970s - doesn't use a different stadium from the one the current team uses
San Lorenzo 1945-50 - Viejo Gasometro de Av. La Plata
Velez 1990s - doesn't use a different stadium from the one the current team uses
Ferro 1980s - the old Arquitecto Etcheverry with the wooden stands and the home fans to the left of the camera
Estudiantes 1960s - old 1 y 55 wooden stands stadium
Gimnasia 1925 - old stadium without the new cement structure with the away fans in the front of the camera stands

There are also Intro movies for most competitions in season mode (I think they work in Tournament mode as well, didn't try) that make the overall experience much more exciting and less repetitive, original TV logos for many tournaments, and 3dwipes upgraded in most cases

Here is an advice for those who don't have much experience with the cg server. Always open it before you launch the game as an administrator, do not use the form during the game, in the case of this patch, everything has already been written in the settings. ini file, if you would like to modify anything, do it editing that file while offline. Sometimes, stadiums (especially texture heavy stadiums) may not load, or load with the annoying blue and green squares, most times, this ugly effect disappears the second time the team is launched with the corresponding stadium. Beware that editing the dlc may de-sync the graphics and assignments for all the competitions. If you dont want to use the server, most teams will play with all the other graphics available in generic stadiums

If your game crashes when using team River Plate:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/p0rtpo6v6qxlush/XXX_-_25_-_x.zip/file

Unzip and replace the file in StadiumGBD follder. Regenerate

If names appear wrong because the game didn;t regenerate, download de language database from here:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/z4wk08ot27ou1vp/eng_us.db/file

and place in data/loc, overwrite, regenerate.

The compressed file weights 40+ GB. The uncompressed full game weights 118GB. In season mode, always select in squad used "current customized" or "default" (never "download latest") and Disable First Transfer Window ON. Transfers, much to the sorrow of many, are still disabled, the patch is meant to be played as is, with the current rosters. When finishing a season, always DECLINE to participate in pre season tournaments. Do not venture in the Transfers Tab, emails and offers are disabled.

I recommend Zipware to open all the parts and create the game folder. Once extracted, simply rename the folder as FIFA 16 and move it to EA Sports or Origin Games. Let me know if you have any issues

Enjoy
