[CM 03/04] Defender for Atalanta.

I'm in the last stretch of the second season, leading Serie A by 5 points and am in the final of the Coppa Italia.

My attack is fine, I've got class forwards and midfielders, but I have no standout centre half. Innocenti is solid my most reliable defender, and I have Padoin and Francis up and coming as well (both are still inconsistent as hell though) as Roque Junior who I signed for a free.

I was in Serie B when Bonera was available so he didn't want to join, Mexes went to Valencia and I couldn't afford him as I started with 550K. Can't think of any more and I need someone who I can get with about 10M because that's my predicted transfer budget for next season, and a bit less if I don't win anything.

I'm thinking of de la Cuesta but he'll only be able to come next season and I don't know if he's much better than Padoin or Franci (both with 178 potential, but are still under 130 ability).

And ignore the team selection in the screenshot, that's not my proper starting XI.

maybe Koul Toure he might be worth a bit now though. Theres that bloke from Boca in Argentina thats pretty good you should be able to get him for less that 10 mill

I've played Atalanta, Padoin was very good for me His stats weren't that good, but a very high tackle rating he had.

Play Santos. He was great on my Atalanta CM4 game.

I do play him, though I play him on the left and he still gets heaps of 8s and 9s. Check the screenie.

I have Dawson and De La Cuesta, the are both great but i would advise u to get Martin Albrectsen from FC Copenhagen, he cost me 3.8m and worth every penny, he hasnt put a foot wrong yet!! Now valued at 12m.

yeah. DAwson has been gr8 for me so far. He is good in both Cm4 and Cm03/04

Question: Are the scout ratings in CMScout a good indication of a player's ability? For example, Albrechtsen has a ability/potential of 132/170 with a scout rating of 72%, while Padoin has 138/178 with a scout rating of 68%. Dawson has a 70% rating with 145/170.

Do I look at the potentials or the scout ratings?

Nah.. dont use CM scout, it makes the TOO easy I think. Whats the point of using scouters in the game then?

Michael Dawson is doing a good job lately for me at Milan. Try Gilberto Martinez, he can play as a centre-back, althoug he's better at DR. De La Cuesta is pretty good, i recommend him.

Wot did u do with Alex Pinardi he was a very good player when i bought him. But he was a midfielder, but still he was good.
