CC04 - A step backwards?

It's pretty good so far, except choosing the faces sux...i mean, there's no way to see what the finished product of the face will look like unless you load the game! In 03 we could choose the whole face and see what it looked like with facial hair etc....this version has seperate heads for hair and seperate again for facial hair...dear oh dear, pls someone tell me it's possible to see the whole COMPLETE face in one pic?

and considering that there were 30-odd hairstyles in Fifa 03, you'd think think that it would be easier to do than last year... with 11 0r 12 hairstyles... (no more Dreadlocks, for example)

And if you wanna preview the whole faces is to extract the files using ea graph and preview them in o-edit with the correct textures.

Jamaicans invented dreadlocks, so trust me on this one, pal... '04 has BRAIDS... '03 had both BRAIDS and DREADLOCKS. If you still have '03 installed, look at Cobi Jones of the US, and you'll see dreadlocks. Of the 30-odd hairstyles in Fifa 03, only 12 made it to '04.

u cant even make that many faces... there are like 3 european face types... where did the 80 faces from 03 go?

this is pissing me off... one would think EA would manage to make a better prog, but nooo

Man, this is so crap...i used CC04 to create the correct faces for my beloved Div 2 team - Sheff Wed....hehehe i only had like 4 realistic face options and 3 hair options...heheh on the field they all look like twins, or better still, clones....heheh what a joke...the irony is that this one was done by Chau...i really expected more, especially after waiting almost 3 months after the game was released...heheh what a laugh... NOT

Oh, but wait, i get it now...the usual EA trick of adding stuff and then removing other stuff that was good....they give us more 'specific faces' in 2004 but then they MUST remove something, so they remove the amount of variety in 'generic' faces...so teams without specific faces all look like clones....this is rubbish...how hard would it have been to keep the code of the 2003 faces - they had heaps of variety...

U cant blame Chau for the Creation Centres short comings...He has done all that he could with the game that EA have given him...his job in making the CC wasnt to add stuff to the game, but to make what is in the game editable...He has done this as well as could be asked...

Also, saying that the CC is a step back is ludicrous...I mean did you even use the 2003 CC??? If you think this is a step back, I think not...Its what the limits of the game that are a step back...

as far as i heard, this CC is just the preliminary version. There will be an updated version in March. Can't blame Chau, but EA should deliver. You gotta admit that the direction EA sports has been going is quite sweet. Remember that they'll never deliver a perfect version of fifa (as far as CC and managing goes) cuz they gotta hold back some to make money and keep us hooked.
That's ok i forgive them, but still makes me frusterated that i can't play red star belgrade in any of the recent fifa series.
Did anyone find a chant importer for 04 that works?
